DaveBerg
Would like to buy a Police Car. Prefer late 40's or early 50's but will consider any 64 or earlier. Vehicle should drive reliably and can be an older restoration or even a presentable original. Fresh restoration also considered. Make unimportant though an odd make is always preferable to me. Clones considered as well if really done nice. Any help appreciated. Contact davbergltd@aol.com Thanks.
JKMcClure
Dave,Saw your posts. Coincidentally, I am looking for a 1938 DeSoto Yellow Cab and a 1961 Ford Galaxie Police Car. Anyone out there have any ideas about where I can find these? Please contact me at kmcclure@moment.net Thank you.
Guest Hugh32
Dave, I found a 51 Hudson 4 dr police car for $3500 at this sitehttp://oldcars.fotki.com/1951-hudson-police-/ copy and paste into your browser. Or email the owner at collectorcarsandparts@yahoo.com It's not TOO bad, needs a rocker panel. Big red light on top. Happy hunting Hugh32

DaveBerg
Thanks to all of you for the help. Most of those vehicles i was aware of but I appreciate you letting me know about them anyway. One never knows. I like the Hudson alot but think that one is a little too far past my abilities. I'd sure like to find one of those in a nicer condition and pay much more of course. Thanks again. I do appreciate the help. db
stude24
Dave,There is a fellow in the local chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club who lives in Vermont that has a 1964 Studebaker Lark Marshall for sale. It was originally a Maine State Police car. It has the Avanti R1 (289 V8) with a four speed. There is a photo on this link: http://billstudepage.homestead.com/files/2008december.htm .Its a pretty rare car and I recall that he was asking around $12,000 for it. If it is anything you might be interested in drop me an email and I can give you the phone number.
