JoeFDNY146
Can anyone help me find an answer to my problem.I bought what was advertized as a 1924 dodge business coupe, and I wanted to order a part for it but the serial number on the floor plate is A443719, which according to the book I have the car was built on september 25 1925 and is a 1926 series. How can I tell what year it is?The chassis # is supposed to be on the right frame rail behind the rear leaf spring shackle,I can't find any number there. Is there a way to tell from the body ex: # of door hinges, cowel vent ect. Thank You JoeFDNY146

dwollam
The serial (chassis) number is on the right side above the rear shackle of the FRONT spring and should be the same as the toe board tag. Is it a 3 window or 5 window coupe? 24-25 was 5 window, 26-27 was 3 window.
