plastic repair

has anyone ever done any repairs on plastic interior parts specifically the upper mounting tabs on the console of a 1965 rivi. there are many products on the market for doing this.its a first for me,any help with brands to use or avoid or technical advice would be appreciated.

I've had good success with a product called Plastex, that I purchased at a local auto swap meet.

Epoxy works good if you have all the pieces there or are just dealing with a simple break.

But if you need to fill in gaps or holes or even have a piece or two missing, then Plastex is vastly better... you can create a mold with the provided putty and basically make a small piece or fill in the missing areas that sharded off, etc.
