It's a good idea to include your state of residence in your profile. In dealing with brake issues, knowing if you are close to one of us is a plus.

If it is less than 1/8 inch above the line after you have pumped the pedal at least 25 times I wouldn't worry about it. If it is more than that I would siphon out a little.

I have good used pressure switches and pump/motors available but now days there is almost no such thing as a good used accumulator. When doing the tests if your red light comes on in less than 3 or less pumps you should get a new accumulator as your pump is running more often than it was designed to and will wear out faster.
