alsfarms
I have been on a long term porject to restore the remains of the old family Dodge. It is a late 1922. My question is: Where is a good source for replacement pistons. Can anyone share good or bad expereinces so I do not have to learn the hard way? Can pistons, from other makes or models, be fit to the early Dodge Bros.? I don't have access to an interchange manual. Does anyone have expereince with the Dodge Bros. Ricardo head? I have one and plan to use it on this car. Comments on the use of the Ricardo heard are also appreciated.Regards,Alan
nearchoclatetown
I'd start with Egge to look for pistons. How about a picture of the head?
alsfarms
Hello...I will try to get a couple of digital images of the Ricardo head later today and make an attempt at posting. This is the only Dodge Bros. Ricardo I have seen. I am guessing that it will be proper for my late 1922 - 1923 as it has the mount for the fan cast into the head, as did Dodge Bros. of that vintage. Can anyone share info. on this head and if it did really imporve performance or is it a marketing dream?Alan
