chrome or stainless

I have a chevy truck that had chrome plated chevy emblem and hub caps. would there be any point taken off if these were replaced with the stainless steel replacements.

Very likely no one would notice if they appear as original. The vast majority of show cars out there, especially Classics, have many, many parts in stainless that were originally chrome. In my AACA judging experience I've never seen anyone take a deduction for stainless where chrome should have been.
