Fan, Temp, Diagnostic controls

90 coupe.<BR>Fan speed will not change (stuck on low), cannot adjust the temperature (stuck on 80) and auto button does not work.<BR>When I try to enter diagnostics by pushing Temp and Off button nothing happens?<BR>Is this a loose connection behind the controls? <BR>How do I get to the controls to clean or replugged in?<BR>What is the P/N for the controller if all else fails?<BR>Thanks.<P> confused.gif" border="0 <P>J Hellman

You must remove the bezel around the instrument cluster. You will find a Torx head screw at the top of the right and left vents. There are two more at the top of the instrument cluster..above the speedometer.<BR>With the four screws removed, use some sort of a hooked tool and pull straight out ...work your way around the bezel.<P>With that removed you can get to anything on the dash. Cleaning the contacts may be all that is required, but I have completely disassembled the units and sprayed contact cleaner under the buttons on one stubborn unit.
