RustbucketP6
I've just made a YouTube slide show of my abandoned American car photos, and was hoping I could get some of you to look at it. Your comments would be greatly appreciated.http://www.roadtransport.com/blogs/truck-and-van-blog/2007/09/roadside-relics---the-movie.html
mrpushbutton
Great photos. You'll have to tell us where these junkyards are--some folks on this board have restored cars worse off than some in your photos. There were step down Hudsons, Packard Henney ambulances, Ramblers, Studebakers, some Fords that were junk from the drawing board to the factory to the brief life they had to now ('72 LTD) and some Fords that were great cars. Shop Rat
Very nice. The band also. But a little sad in a way. I can imagine how excited and proud people were when they rolled off of the car lot with their new car/truck. And now those same vehicles sit abandoned and forgotten, no longer shiny and cherished. It really is great that there are folks that will take a car/truck like these and restore them to their former glory. And then share them with the public that all kinds of events. Thanks for the tribute to these Roadside Relics.
Mark Shaw
Interesting, but the title seems a bit misleading. I don't mean to be picky here, but most of the cars are not anywhere near a roadside. I am sure it is too late to rename it "Road Relics".
