g-g-g0 Posted August 7, 2007 Share Posted August 7, 2007 Can anyone help me locate the serial (vin) number on my recently purchased 1953 Buick Super model 56C? The manual says it is on the left side frame rail near the master cylinder. Can anyone be more specific? What does a typical vin number look like for this year? Appreciate any help. I have found a small tin tag near the bottom of the left door hinge post but it does not appear to be a vin number. It reads 47 I 6484 I.
