In a northern winter, if it only hits 130-140, you notice the lack of heat. No doubt 179-181 would work OK as well.

I could not keep this car running without the information available in this forum. :-)

    Lights a flickin

Low voltage caused by problem battery cable was the problem. One of the battery cable connection bolts was partially stripped resulting in the connector being slightly loose. New bolt installed, full voltage restored and so far the problem has gone away.
  6. New thermostat and life is good, temp goes right to 195 degrees...plenty of heat.
  7. My radiator temps generally never exceed 140 degrees in our currently COLD weather and go up to 205 - 210 degrees in stop/go traffic in the summer. Do I have a bad thermostat?
  8. Especially on a cold morning start, the ABS light, the CRT, instrument panel and the exterior parking lights will flick on and off in unison, click-click, click-click, click-click, perhaps a dozen times, on my 88. Is this a bad ground (and if so where might it be located) or bad relay or... ?

    Ignition Problem

Sounds like an ignition switch part wear-out is causing this and switch replacement is needed. If lubricant fixes this I will be surprised.
  10. Both are certainly nice looking cars. Whatever vehicle you decide upon, plan on spending, at a minimum, $1500.00, to get some routine mainentance items up to date. For example, struts, brake issues, tires, tuneup, fluid flushes, etc.

So one would need to know which year Camaro had the proper size.
  12. 63Viking, I see you bought the pictures on Ebay of the Reatta production line. Are you going to share a scanned version with us? :-)
