  1. Well, I did a WHOIS search to see who owns the website I mentioned above because it seemed to me something is not right. Why have a website with old ads? Turns out the website is registered in Russia, see: Domain Name: CLASSICCARDB.COM Registry Domain ID: 2032199339_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.reg.com Registrar URL: http://www.reg.ru Updated Date: 2018-04-02T20:26:48Z Creation Date: 2016-05-29T20:20:04Z Registry Expiry Date: 2019-05-29T20:20:04Z Registrar: REGISTRAR OF DOMAIN NAMES REG.RU LLC Registrar IANA ID: 1606 Registrar Abuse Contact Email: abuse@reg.ru Registrar Abuse Contact Phone: +74955801111 Domain Status: clientTransferProhibited https://icann.org/epp#clientTransferProhibited Name Server: NS1.X5X.RU Name Server: NS2.X5X.RU DNSSEC: unsigned URL of the ICANN Whois Inaccuracy Complaint Form: https://www.icann.org/wicf/ >>> Last update of whois database: 2019-01-06T06:17:40Z <<< Purpose of the website I think is not to scam buyers out of money (at least not directly) but rather to get buyers personal info (name, email address, telephone number), which they ask for when you send a message from their website to the "seller" about the car.
  2. Still looking. Any suggestions on how to find one of these?
  3. Thanks for your message. The model 60 manifold should look like this (see below). The one you have seems to be a 50 series that has a bolt hole in the middle; there no middle bolt hole in the model 60 manifold. From your photo it also looks about an inch too small. Distance between centers of the first and last hole should be 28 35/64 inch or 72.5 cm.
  4. This car is listed on a website for sale but when I contact the seller (via the button on the website) I receive no replies. I left my cell number and email address. I wonder if this ad is a scam or a teenager has listed his grandfather's car to see what interest there is. And in the ad there's mention of this car having a drag race with a Corvette... Anyone know this car and the owner?
  5. Looking for an exhaust manifold for a 1932 series 67 that's in good condition.
  6. Thanks for your message. I searched the forum. Sandy owned two 1933 model 90 4-door. Photos show they're really nice cars but unfortunately not the year I'm seeking.
  7. Vintage race cars with modern coachwork? Bizarre. They could use a Ford Model A chassis which are available locally. With most of South America in economic meltdown including the big boys Argentina and Brazil, I cannot imagine too many folks there have the money needed for this type of thing.
  8. Hi, I'm helping a friend track down one of these. He already owns a 1932 Buick model 67 (see photos). He's interested in adding the top of the line Buick 4 door for that year to his collection. He's not into hot-rods. These cars are just too nice and rare for that.
  9. Does anyone have Mack's current email address and telephone number? buick32@adelphia.net doesn't work. 724-463-3372 does ring but then asks for access code.
  10. Thanks for your reply. A Victoria is a lovely body but I'm only after a 4 door car (a series 90, 91 or 97).
  11. I'm looking for a 1932 Buick model 90 series 90, 91 or 97.
  12. Anyone have one of these they are thinking of selling?
  13. I'm looking for the following Moore aux. trans. parts for a Ford Model T (not TT which was different). If you have any of the parts pictured but in better condition than the ones you see, please send me a PM (Private Message), do not reply here. Thanks.
  14. What were the engine and colour options for these? How can you tell if you have a matching numbers car? How rare and valuable are they today?
  15. Thanks for your messages. The vehicle that I will be shipping is in Michigan. Which means I am looking to put the car and a spare engine I into a container in Michigan then by rail to the coast (I've found and visited a shipping company near Detroit that does that), OR renting a U-HAUL trailer and personally delivering the car to an east coast port (probably New Jersey or New York). Ideally, I'm hoping to find someone to share a 40' container 50/50...if that doesn't happen I'll ship my car alone in a 20'. If I use a 20' there should be room for a someone's longblock as the car I'm shipping is only about 12' long. Thanks. Constantine
  16. Will be sending a car in a container from the USA to Melbourne in mid to late November. If you have a car or parts heading for Down-Under please let me know. Thanks.
  17. Nice car. Be interesting to see what it sells for this time. Wonder why it's again up for auction only two years on?
  18. Does the AACA have an 'expert' in this make? I'm looking to buy one so it would be good to find someone who knows a bit about them. Any suggestions? Thanks. Constantine
  19. Spoke to Ralph, he sold his car a couple of years ago. He had a 1912 4cyl. Apart from wanted ads, can someone suggest how l can track down owners of these cars or someone who knows a lot about them? Constantine
