I'm looking for a 1915 - 1924 "National" ( NATIONAL MOTOR CAR & VEHICLE CORPORATION ), in a strong #3 condition or better. Email: m_con@hotmail.com Thanks. Constatine
The car stays in 2nd gear while accelerating or maintaining speed but if you lift your foot off the gas even a little it pops out of gear. What are the possible causes of this problem, and how do l narrow it down to the actual cause? What will need to be done to fix the problem? If parts are needed where can they be found? Thanks in advance for any help or advice. Constantine
Does anyone know in which issue appeared the 10 page report: "1938-40 Graham: The wrong car at the wrong time"? Can someone suggest where l could get hold of one? Thanks. Constantine
Hi Phil, I do know about that website, no un-sold sedans there at the moment. I'd love a convertible but they're out of my price range. What would you suggest is a fair price for a condition #2 car? NADA puts them at about $30000 l think.
Seeking 1938-39 sedan, which must be in at least #3 condition (a 75 point car) either restored or a pampered original. Constantine My email: conm56@yahoo.com
To clarify, the ebay auctions l've been following are of pre-1950s cars with a NADA guide value of less than 50K. Speaking of RM auctions (which l haven't been following) there was a discussion on the Lincoln-Zephyr forum of how cheaply this car went for: http://www.rmauctions.com/CarDetails.cfm?SaleCode=HF07&CarID=r176&Currency=
I've been following ebay auction results over the past couple of months and have noticed that bids on many good cars are not clearing the reserve price. The reserves are too high or are classic cars prices falling together with U.S. house prices and business/consumer confidence in the U.S. economy? What's happening?
Hello Everyone. I'm looking to buy a 1938-40 "Sharknose" or 1940-1 Hollywood. The car should be in at least #3 condition (a 75 point car) either restored or a pampered original. Sorry but no hot rods. Thanks. regards, Constantine My email: conm56@yahoo.com
Hello All! Which cars from this era are considered to have the most stylish interiors? Also, there seems to have been a huge improvement in style and quality between 1937 to 1939; eg. compare a 1937 LaSalle or Lincoln-Zephyr with the 1939 cars.
