  1. It's time to start making your plans to attend the 38th Annual 53-54 Buick Skylark Club Meet This year's meet will be held from September 13th through September 16th just outside Nashville in Franklin, TN. We're planning a good mix of activities that include a slice of Nashville's musical history, antique cars, and historical sites. Preliminary plans are to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Hatch Show Print, Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art, and the Lane Motor Museum. There will also be free time for those who wish to explore the other numerous attractions in the Franklin and Nashville area, or to take in some live music. The host hotel for the meet is the Drury Plaza Hotel in Franklin, TN. Hotel reservations may be made by calling 1-800-325-0720 and referring to the Group number of 2304254. Questions: SkylarkMeet2017@comcast.net.

  3. This is for the big series - 33.5" long. $100. Can bring to Hershey Chocolate field.
  4. I think that's actually the compressor for the auto leveling air suspension. Late 60's Cadillac used similar - attached is a picture of one for a 66. I believe yours is longer and came off a 70 or 71 Monte Carlo SS, as seen here: The First Generation Monte Carlo Club
  5. All metal 42 3/4 inches wide 19 1/2 inches tall (to highest point) 16 3/4 inches front to back Possible distinguishing features: -indentation (I assume for the fuel fill) on what would be the rear passenger side -details of the remaining latch -2 notches on the bottom rear -angled mounting brackets underneath
  6. The Volt has software that handles this: How the Chevy Volt Deals With Gas and Rare Generator Use The Prius probably does, too.
  7. You want the "Blocks" subsection of the FAQ - http://www.442.com/oldsfaq/ofblk.htm#Blocks You're looking for casting 568922, which the FAQ lists as 54-56 324. Now, to open up a can of worms, I'm pretty sure the FAQ is wrong on this number. I've got a 324 with a 56<span style="font-weight: bold">3</span>922 casting number. Can you get whomever is inquiring to check their casting number again? I seem to remember this coming up earlier on another board (HAMB, maybe?)
  8. That's the lovely patina. I polished spots on the ends and main body, and it's definitely brass.
  9. Okay, it's obviously a brass gas tank. Can anyone identify what it came from?<img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Measurements are 25" x 14" x 10", which works out to 16 gallons capacity. The main cap has a distinctive "Gasoline" script, there's a smaller secondary cap either for venting or inserting a gauge, and there's an unusual petcock built into the tank.
