Yes, It is Engine Oil. If the pan was leaking I would not have oil dripping down from the knock sensor area. The Pan bolts were torqued to 124 inch lbs.

I have developed an oil leak on the backside of the engine. It looks like it's comong from just above the knock sensor. I have: replaced the intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets and the pan gasket and I still cannot stop the leak. ANY help would be appreciated. I have a 90 coupe.

It will NOT fit. You need a lower intake manifold from a Buick & the supercharger, The front pulley assembly, a different power steering pump and remote filler, the throttle plate housing from a supercharged Buick engine and many small parts that only come fron a Pontiac,Olds, or Buick engine.

You might check the lines going to and coming fron the Fuel canister.

If you can find some one who can do it correctly.

You might look at the one that is made for the Corvette.
