OK, I don't type as fast as Pat...
Information is above.
Roger,
I saw your post late last night, so first thing this morning I called National. Check your email inbox. The information was sent to you about 9:15 EST this morning. If it is not there, check your spam folder for an email from Pat.

The Winter National is online now.
And the brochure is on the calendar.

On a car with little space between the grille and the radiator, some use two hillman toggle bolts with a large enough span to cover the grille spacing and cut off the bolts to deal with the limited depth.

Depends on three things:
Your radiator,
Your clutch,
Your left knee.
I've driven my 40 Buick in several parades. It has never run hot, even at slow speeds for extended time. But I have taken good care of the radiator.
The Buick has good torque even in third gear. I reworked my transmission when I first got the car.
The most questionable item in my equation is my left knee...

Still the question of whether Duragloss has a presence in UK.
When we hosted the 1995 Oldsmobile Club National in Greensboro NC, we approached the Baileys (just down I40 in Burlington) for some door prizes and goody bag items. Their counter-offer? Let them set up a swap meet space at no cost and they'd not only supply what we'd requested but supply car wash items for the meet's wash area.
They knew exactly what they were doing. Once the Oldsmobile folks tried the Duragloss products, they sold out at the swap space every day, and got plenty of mail order sales from across the US.
You can order it in UK, but it is not cheap....

Know as the Revival AAA Glidden Tour, the tour actually belongs to AAA.
Contact Vince DeLisi, the current chair, he can probably give you the AAA contact.

Yes on multiple occasions, but mostly Veterans Day.

Congratulations to the MVR. They are putting on a great National this weekend: well prepared, well hosted and indoor show.

Tom, actually the owner is the "expert" in AACA judging. If there is a question, then the team captain asks the owner for factory documentation. This points to one of the reasons why our AACA's extensive Library is so important.

Actually, I am Dr. Phill. But when I have a real problem, pre or post war, I call Dr. Jeff. He is half my age and grew up working on his dad's old cars. He is a rare find!

If you are referring to the Steve Benson from Charlotte, NC, he passed away. Try Mel Carson at the HNR office for more info.

The Chevy engineer who was in charge of the Vega Vert-A-Pac project sent me an article on it several years ago. If I can find it, I'll post it. He said the accountants messed up the Vega.

Well, I agree with you, but last week Hagerty announced that old car prices are on the verge of "hyper-appreciating". Whatever that means.

The Bennetts made their fortune in trucking. Obviously, they loved classic cars. I met one of the brothers at a church function soon after the museum was opened. He invited me and my wife to visit, and we did on several occasions. Although as mentioned above, most of the cars were unrestored, but I found it to be well laid out and interesting --a sort of HPOF museum. The Hornets Nest Region visited there at least twice.

Not to hijack this thread but I got you beat by a mile! Sadly, back, neck, hip, knees, shoulders, toe, heart all have meatal. Back a ton...one of my shoulder replacements has come loose after 11 years and is being replaced in November. I am all too familiar with some of the pat downs...the neck seems to really set things off.
Steve, I still think you qualify as HPOF ORIGINAL!

Matthew and Oldsmobile83 are giving good advice... and I suspect that no one has ever sought to show a Mark 5 Saloon in class 29. After all, they are relatively rare.
The way to have a car included in class 29 is to put in a request (there is a form) that it be in that class. The VP of Judging would guide the request through the class committee.

This isn't a war on cars, this is a war on traffic. Two different things.
Yes, that's true!
Although, having driven in various European cities on numerous occasions, I never saw the traffic as the real problem. It was the lack or expense of parking. I got a parking ticket in Paris almost 50 years ago. Didn't really know what it was until a fellow in London translated it for me.

Pat has posted the winners on the AACA website and above on Shows and Tours. None of us Coles are on there.
So, George, you and your Jag are fine. Nice unrestored car, BTW.

Roy,
I am asking for your patience. We will have the 2021 logos up as soon as possible. After you received your letter, several things happened:
1 The new website is being rolled out. This takes time. Many thanks to Peter for his hard work!
2 As a part of the new website, Peter took up the task of improving the resolution and design of the logos.
3 The Publications Committee is in the process of reviewing the designs. Again, this takes time.
Let me assure all editors, this will not impact the 2022 NAAP evaluations.

I still can and still do. Learned how on a straight gear driver's education car. Yea, when they started driver's ed in NC, most cars were straight gear. Think they were cheaper than automatics. Used to drive a Thomas school bus. If you can drive a school bus and take a sharp curve uphill, you can basically drive most anything. One of these days I'm going to let my grand daughter take the VW Beetle out for a spin, because everyone needs how to drive a four speed.
