Trying to locate a carburator of my '32 Olds L32 Coupe. The correct carb is a 2 barrel down-draft Stromberg EE-2 with a 1 1/32 inch venturi bore. The designation of the venturi is by a circle in the casting just above the fuel inlet on the bowl. If you have one or any knowledge of where I might find one, please contact:

Glenn,
Thanks for the info. I think I will try the "fix", and by the way , I did change the filter. It was clean, no debris what so ever. Next item, if it continues is coil.

Been dealing with a problem with my '68 Delta 455 2bbl. When pulling hills the engine occasionally want to stumble and stall. It has happened twice and feels like a fuel delivery problem. I have changed the fuel pump twice and the last time change the rubber suction line and the hard line pump to carb. (found 3 severe kinks in the hard line). A friend who worked in an Olds/ Caddy dealership back in the '70's suggested plugging the fuel return line (A/C car) as this was a shop fix back then for a similar problem.
Question is: Has anyone heard of this before and will I do any harm by doing it? Will pressure be increased to much to the carb? And, why do only the A/C cars have this return?

This is a very nice pedestal mount ECO Tireflator. The face, glass and bezel are excellent; hook and handle OK but not great. The case and pedestal are excellent. Have not put air to it so don't know working condition. Numbers role smoothly. For sale, for $800; and based on what I have seen at Charlotte and Hershey the past couple of years that's a bargain! Pick up in Virginia Beach or I'll deliver to Hershey in Oct. Mickey @ (757) 456-2806

Have something you might like; it's a dealer Showroom album in very good condition. It displays all the colors and fabrics for all the '68 Olds models. Neat piece of memoribila. If you're interested I'm asking $75 + shipping. Picture attached.

I have an unrestored 25K mile Delta 88 Holiday Coupe, 455 2V carb. The coil is mounted just aft of the carb on the RH side of the distributor. Mounting bracket is bolted to the intake manifold.

Yes, it's the one advertised. I saw it back in March when I went to look at a '41 Super Bill had for sale. I didn't buy the '41 but was impressed with the '56 and the rest is history.

The car used for this model is actually a solid black model 73 which I now own. The car was owned by Bill Tricarico of Vienna, VA and the photo shoot was done in 2009. I have the paperwork from Danbury thanking Mr. Tricarico and offering him (2) of the models when available. I guess they decided black was not as attractive as the tri-color scheme. Guess I'll have to get one!

Take a look at the generator mounting bracket. The holes that mount the bracket to the block may be offset. Had a similar thing happen to me with an early Chevy. I reversed the bracket which moved the generator forward the required distance. Might be the same??

Could use some help from a member in the Cleveland TN area. I'm thinking of buying a '41 Chevy Coupe and am wary of buying sight unseen. Got burned last year in trusting owner, pictures and discription. If you can help, email me at toni56chev@cox.net or call 757-456-2806.
