  1. I have a 65 country squire with the factory air and its been a job to keep it operating,if you have a vacumn leak it will not work right. The air and heat are two seperate systems and if there is no vacumn the air will only blow out on the a/c side with no heat,I used a 67 shop manual to figure out mine as 65 to 68s were the same. If you have missing parts you will need to get them and hook up the vacumn lines correctly and go from there, the factory shop manual will have a diagram for where the vacumn lines go and they are color coded if original and email me at jogden55@netzero.net if you have any questions. Jeff

  2. I dont care if the derby guys use late 70s and 80s full size for the derby but when they use early 70s on back is when I get mad,a couple of years ago I was at the swapmeet at the marion county fairgrounds in indy when someone came in the car corral with a 60 ford fullsize 2 door sedan on a trailer bragging if it did not sell it was going in the derby. They were not there when I was done going through the swapmeet as I bet they mouthed off to the wrong person and their butts were going to be kicked if they did not leave, me and my friend who was with me was considering thumping them too. Jeff

  3. I have the original factory optional manifolds with two NOS carbs, also included is a stock distributor converted to dual ponits, two small chrome aircleaners and some linkage. I also have a floor shift cable operated overdrive trans from a late 30s chrysler/desoto that should work in a late 30s truck,I am asking 750.00 for the manifolds and 450.00 for the trans or will trade them all for a really nice 65 galaxie 2 door rolling body. The manifolds fit the chrysler/desoto six not the dodge or plymouth six and I am in ohio Jeff

  4. The torque convertor is filled seperately, there are plugs in the body on the trans hump and on the bellhousing and the motor has to be turned over so the fill plug lines up and it does not get oil from the motor. The oil could also be comming from the front seal in the trans and you will have to remove the trans to repair it or the torque convertor, the trans has its own plugs for oil fill. The trans and torque convertor take 10 weight oil. Jeff

  5. Bored .030 crank turned .010/.010 mild cam with modern lifters and hollow pushrods heads redone with rebuilt rocker shafts shortblock assembled and only needs cam gear and oil pump to complete I have around 1700.00 in it and I will take 900.00 for it and will include a 56 hydromatic trans with around 64.000 miles
