Have installed new cam,lifters and push rods. Removed and disabled rocker shafts,making sure all oiling holes are clean. Reasambled,started engine,oil presure 40lbs.Engine at operating temperature,650 RPM,the engine ticking was moderate to heavy.Removed rocker covers,started engine 500 RPM. Little to very little oiling from the rocker arm to the push rod.(More oiling front,less oiling rear>)20/50 oil in engine.Engine tempature 180.NEED FEED BACK any IDEAS?

Need a good set of hood springs for my 55.

Where can I get hood springs for my 55? Mine are very weak.

Bob, there were 7 different interior color combs #311,312,314,315,317,318,319. Also if you didn not like Olds combs you could order what you wanted. That came to about 265 exterior and interior combos. Bob,get the Master Parts List of Body Parts for OLDSMOBILE 1949-1957 from Faxton in Calif about $30.00. Oh yes your back deck painted cardboard or leather (Bolster) to match your interior. 1955 was the FLYING COLORS year for OLDSMOBILE. WJW

Pete,you are not nosy.I am driving to Murphy NC.and taking the road thru the Smoky Mts. I did this before and the Olds did not over heat,but it sure got close.I want better odds.

Looking for a 8 vane water pump for 1955 Olds 324 cu. eng. I have 2, 6 vane pumps but would like more volume displacement.Do not know if they were even manf. WJW

Yes your 55 OLDS was factory wired for the accessories you asked about except for the rear speaker.
