Taking my 64,88 to the nats for the first time. Its 100% pure orignal with 37216 miles. Add another 550 miles cause it will be driven. Oops, not orginal in the process of putting on new water hoses and I did change the wiper blades. Hope this does not me out of the unrestored class. NO PUN intented. Stranger things have happened!!! I rebuilt my 1955 Olds eng about 5 years ago. I had it bored out 60 over. Now after all this time I am trying to do the math but I keep getting figures. Now the 55 eng has 324.31 Cu. In and rated at 202 hp. Will somebody help me,my brain has a slight miss in it, should change the points. Oh yes other than the 60 over the eng is pure stock.What is the cu. and hp. on the eng???? I'm posting this for Roy in Sweden. He has a 1956 Starfire conv.with all the bells. He told me he has asked for help but nobody has offered. Come on guys & gals lets help him! He has been restoring his car for 6 years. The correct interior is now the problem.The stainless moldings on door panels and back seat side panels is not correct for his car.Also the design on the upholstery for seats,backrests and panels is wrong.I have never seen a car like his and since only 8581 were made I can see why.Email Roy at trimshop@work.utfor.se WJW

I am looking for a 3 belt grove A/C water pump pulley. One off a 54,55 or 56 olds will work. I told a man in Wy.I had one he could have but I can not find it. My word is my bond and I need one for him. I need some leads! WJW

I replaced the pump. Will replace oil pump on all rebuilds from now on! WJW

Would you belive oil pump! The old pump produced good pressure but the volume was very low. Installed new pump, NO TICKING. WJW

Bob,you did the right thing. As for the man showing your car to the blind man. I feel he was doing very good deed with no malace intended. I am thankfull we are not blind. WJW

All oiling holes line up.Thinking about this more I am going to replace oil and filter again and put 10w30 in. Let it run at 650 rpm. May be just may be I still have air in the system and the cam lobes need to wear in. If that does not work I will be looking for a oiling kit that was suggested.I will keep you guys informed.
