  2. To  be correct i was there 2 seasons and one time in Glen meyer and one time in Tillsonburg .In the weekend we came to the belgian house and i believe that was in Delhi .people told me that all tabacco is gone now .Our first farmer had a ford galaxie 500 and the other one a big 1960 chrysler .I would still like to go back one day but i don't know if this will ever happen in this life .

  3. Very nice car ! It takes me back to 1969 when i was in Canada -Ontario working on  a tabacco farm as a Belgian student helping the farmers to get the harvest inside .On the weekend we where taken to town and in one street there was a car like this one parked on the side of the street .It was a yellow one .I hope this one finds a good home .

  4. Looks like a nice car , i see his price was 42.500 $ in his description and now he asks 29.000$ for same car ...i see no roll up windows in the doors also ( cold) see that second window set up inside the car for the rear passengers so that means the seat cannot go back for the many people with longer leags than people use to have in the thirties .But i like the colors and the condition of the car .But i am no ford man so i guess somebody else will be happy with it

I think a comment like that is unfair........you haven't seen the car in person, and cars rarely get termites..........dry rot and water rot yes........... Sagging doors don't necessarily mean bad wood either............ as far as anyone knows the wood in the car is perfectly fine...........if you're a serious buyer call the seller and ask...........commenting on bad wood can taint this car............. as far as I can see it looks like a nice, decent car. Ed

Wow , i never mentioned that there are termites in the car , i just mentioned that i am worrying about that because i don't know much about wood in cars and i am happy that Matt also commented on the subject and that i don't have to worry about termite damage as he has a long career in dealing with those cars .Thanks to all the members who commented on the subject !

  6. I am worrying about the wood structures in those cars .i have been reading horror stories how termites can destroy a whole structure .Looking at the pictures nothing can be seen from sagging doors or something like that .But i have no experience in that field .i hope other people  know more than i do .Thanks

  7. It looks like a nice car for sure , i sold my 1932 packard and still regret it .I never had a car with wooden wheels and that makes me kind of afraid to buy a car with wooden wheels as i don't know how that works .i have a friend with a french car with wooden wheels and when he passes slowly by you can hear the wheels .Down here we have cold winters and warm summers .When you have steel wheels there is nothing to worry about .And so life goes on .....

  8. Well ,i observed that those prewar american sedans and some postwar sedans are going down in price when they are for sale for to long and the market is soft for those big gas guzzlers as gas costs down here costs 7-8  $ per gallon .I follow oldtimerfarm.be here  in Belgium and you can see how the prices evaluate ..Of course we all like to do a good deal .ALL those cars are on consignment ...you can put your car down there for free for 6 months for a normal price they agree on  and when not sold take it back or lower your price
