Found my AA issue where this was published--see page 96 of the March/April 2009 issue. Credit ("Vintage ads courtesy of") is given to Lloyd M. Kerr of Parker, Texas.

Finally located the actual card and can report imprinted information from the back:
"Mountaineer Motor Inn, at Mt. Mansfield, Stowe, VT...Indoor heated pool...60 units...motel privacy...dining room..."
No date printed on the card, though fine print indicates it was copyright by "Hannau-Robinson Color Productions, Inc., 475 - 5th Avenue, New York, N.Y. 10017"

Thanks Wayne. Others in the know have suggested that it "just wasn't the right time" for the high-tech six--muscle car buyers wanted their big V8s.
