TedTrudon/Lipman VW history

A good friend of ours got inspired by a "Flashback" photo that ran recently in a newspaper serving north-central Connecticut called the ?Journal Inquirer? (http://www.journalinquirer.com/). Shown in the ?Flashback? image here is a vintage photo of the (then) ?Ted Trudon? Volkswagen dealership located in the Talcottville section of Vernon, Connecticut, in the 1960s.

As it turned out, our friend Greg had photographed one of his old cars parked in front of the very same dealership facility, in the summer of 1990. However, by then the dealership name had changed to ?Lipman Volkswagen,? and it was in the process of closing at the time Greg visited for his photo, which I?ll upload right after this one. We understand that the dealership facility is now inhabited by a Subaru dealer.
