The bumpers are not very good bent& rusty This car had White interior, so the dash pad and dash are Gray The pot-metal parts of the dash have some pitting, they would be good for a driver The lower pad surround is in remarkably good shape, but the top has several cracks. let me know if interested buickguyjon1@sbcglobal.net

the straight 8 bellhousing will not work to my knowledge( i've checked out 37, 40, and 53 small series) because of the shape of the block in the back. the older bellhousing with the new trans or vice/versa should work bolt pattern wise- but the diameter of the hole in the center will vary by year "example" a 58 trans will fit a 40, but not a 37, because the hole is at least 1 inch bigger on the 37 bellhousing.NOTE ( incedentally, any modern trans t-10, saginaw, muncie- will fit on the 37- including 5-speeds!?) you can get around this by having the center hole machined to fit( you may also have to ream the holes in the trans itself to bolt it up) hope this helps.
