guys- dual master brake systems DO use a proportioning valve- the proportion the brakes 70/30 front/rear- they are not the same as a distribution block- those do not have a valve to keep one set of brakes working if you loose one side. They dont work the same as disc/drum, but they are proportioning- most of your pedal feel comes from the rear brakes, so they must be. hope this helps

simple- i've done about 9 of theses conversions. use a 67-69 master- you must use a bendix master you do NOT have to change the booster. you MUST use a proportioning vale from a 67-69 drum-drum full size, or a 67-69 skylark- the conversion will NOT work if you dont put in this valve if you have questions, email me buickguyjon1@sbcglobal.net
