I thought the Toro's were 5 x 5 bolt pattern and the later ones (78 on up) went to the 5 x 4 3/4 Bolt pattern wheels. They are the same as the ElDorado's Right? I had a 72 that I am still parting out.

May be able to help at least in part. Know where there is a 65 Delta hardtop and a 65 4 door sedan. Same car,different nameplate. I also presume that you are referring to the trim that goes around the back glass as opposed to the rear side windows. Let me know. It gives me a good excuse to go to the junkyards. Hi 64Olds442, Right now the only thing that I have that would be correct for a 64 Cutlass is a good running(it was when I ran it last several years ago) 330 2 barrel. It came out of my Jetstar. Hi Glenn, I will tell you this. If he does get hit in the drivers door, he may pour out of the car. It is RUSTY!!!!!!!! I don't know whether it will actually make it. When I had it running we could only get it to move about a foot or so. It may be from setting for 10+ years or the fluid is just low. haven't been able to get a good reading on it as the radiatior hasnt been hooked up yet. The sad part is that I kinda hope that the Slim Jim goes quick, it might save the rest of the car. Anyway, if by chance you are looking for anything I am getting ready to do some serious (for me anyway) garage cleaning. HAve a 63 2 door 98,63 Sport coupe, 64 98 4 door,68 Dynamic 88 2 door that I am looking at getting rid of some of them. Also have some/most of a power vent window setup from another 63 98 that I parted. LEt me know. I am in Western MAryland.Greg

Thanks Glenn. I agree that the white pinstripes would have indeed made sense. I know how to pick apart the later cowl tags, but I also know that GM changed the codes after this car was built. ALso I see that you are into the 63-64 cars as well. I have a reasonable stockpile and am going to get off of some of the cars and parts soon. If you need anything, email me and I will see what I can find. I am in the process now of saving as much as I can from a 63 98 4 door that I found that a guy up the road is demo derbying. Hello, Working on decoding my cowl tag on a 64 Jetstar 88 that I have. HAs option code Y67 on it. Everything that I have seen says its some kind of display reminder option. Are they talking about the 4 lights on the right side of the speedo?? Also it has a 3 digit paint code. If I decoded it right (FCA) it would have Wedgewood mist poly on the bottom, Provincial White on top. This car has that combination on it. The question comes with the A on the end. Is this the pinstripe code. If it is, that means that it had black pinstriping. Who thought that one up?? Any help is appriciated. Thanks,Greg

Am workeing on the same project. Am using a long tailshaft TH400 with my 455. the trans tunnel is tight bu I think it will clear. I think that the driveshaft from a late 60's 88 with the TH400 will also work, depending on what rear you are going to run. I replaced mine with a big Olds rear (Olds/Pontiac type) and everything bolted right up. Also there may be a few things that will interchange from the Cutlass to a Jetstar 88 I.E. brakes, engine.
