Looking for a late teen’s early twenties (1916 - 1925) Cotta transmission. They were put in early trucks as well as some early tractors. The trans may have a casting number on the side of UF53. Trans is about 22” long to end with a flange mount of about 20” in dia. I also posted to the antique truck site but so far no luck. 702.644.19four5 Thanks everyone!

Thanks for the id on the parts. I kinda thought the one parts were acetylene related but the carbide generator mounts I had no idea and the 6” rings I never would of guessed were for holding the fonts in the sidelamps. Thanks again for the ID’s!

I got these with some Model T parts I purchased but I’m not able to ID what they are. The four bands are about 6” across with a screw in one end and 2 pins on the other. The three parts with a brass tube are curved and may be acetylene related? The other 2 pieces with a bolt, I’m really just at a loss... Thanks everyone!

These are skein wagon wheel conversions from steel tire wood wagon wheels to automobile rubber tires. Used to see a lot of these on old hay wagons.

yeah, I’m sure the engine and wheels are for the truck. Wheels are wood spoke hard rubber real heavy, almost certainly truck. Engine is probably truck could be early as 1910 maybe?

This is the same chassis I was inquiring about. I was sent the photos of the car about 3 weeks ago by the owner thinking I might be able to id it but without any luck so my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to post it here not knowing a post already existed of the same chassis. Anyway looks like it might have been already id’d as a Autocar. Funny thing is I just purchased an Autocar 2 cyl engine a couple weeks ago and just found 2 Autocar wheels last weekend what are the odds, I think that the engine and wheels I got may be a little later possibly early to mid-teens?

Yeah, I’m sure the rear hangers were addeded later to lower the frame for some reason.

Trying to id this chassis which has some distinct features. I posted it on the Horseless Carriage site but so far no id. The front horns are unique in that they are cast iron and the back of the rear shackles are attached to a unique curved iron support. Also the frame has wood mounted around the whole exterior. Thanks everyone for the help!

Just doing a quick search on the web it appears there may be one 08 Model S but nothing on the 07. I know of an 07 frame but not of any complete cars. 69 automobiles manufactured sure is a longshot of any survivors...

Anyone know how many 1907 08 Model S Buicks have survived? Not much on the web on these brass era Buicks. thanks!

Thanks Ed, I made a note in the auction as to the years the trans fit in the Pierce Arrow.

The rear half and fenders look like 1918 - 1922. A better picture of the front fender bill would narrow the years even further. Definitely worth saving, Maxwell parts are slowly getting harder to find.
