Are you saying the Delco-Remy points will not work in his distributor and only Wagner will?

I have a 1930 Chrysler with the barrel type master cylinder and the reservoir on the firewall. The manual also confirms mine is correct. Not sure where you are getting your data from but would like to see it. See picture from the 1930 model 70 manual.
