While I was getting my car fixed I happened to wander into the used car lot. They have a red/tan convert with 54000 mi , 16 way seats, cd for sale. Anyone intrested can call Jim Wilk at Suburban Buick, Wheaton Il. 630-462-8000.
I finnally gave up and went to the dealer. The mechanic found the problem in about 2o minutes. It was a fried fog lamp relay, it was located on the console on the passengers side. This guy is a very good mechanic. His name is Bob and he works for Suburban Buick in Wheaton Il.
On My 1990 convert I have a problemwiththe battery running down after sitting for a couple of days. My mecanic and I spent the better part of the afternoon yesterday trying to find the problem. Battery checked out ok Put tester on and found there was a draw when the car was off. Proceded to pull fuses and relays one at a time to no avail. Found the two fuse boxes in the console and the relay center under the hood. Also dis connected things such as trunk lock. antena. What did we miss?? Has anyone else had this problem?? Thanks
Thanks for all the information But the one question is where in the trunk should the unit be mounted?? Mine would not fit in the storage compartment and remember it's a convertible!!
I have a 90 convert that I want to install a CD changer in the trunk and would like to fine out the following 1) Best place to mount it 2) Parts needed for antena connections 3) Best way to tap into power and any other DO's and Dont's Thanks in advance for your help
I would like to know what the original price was for the 1990 service manual?? I have missed the last 4 on EBAY. The last one sold for $86. Now someone is Emailing tyring to sell one for $111 then he cut his price to $95 + S&H. What's going on?? Maybe we should go in the printing business??
What are these book made of ?? Gold! I have been on the short end of 4 auctions on E BAY the last one yesterday were I lost at the last min by $1. It seems that there must be a black market in 1990 books, but I refuse to pay Helms $120 fo a copy
