  2. Thanks Jim part arrived and is installed and looksbetter than new. your the best
  3. Thanks Tom I have sent Jim an email yes it was backing out of the garage
  4. Need passengerside vent window for a 1990 convert.
  5. After searching the forum for information and not finding anything. I would like suggestions for replacement speakers for my car. I don't want to modify anything just replace the existing blown speakers with something at a resonable price.
  6. Right on Billy! I was in the same situation I had 4 kids and $35,000 was more than I could justify for a car that could have only one passenger. When my time came I started looking for a car and found one I have a 90 convertible with 37,000 mi. Nothing is better than putting the top down and going on a road trip even if it only to the hardware store for parts. My car is in hibernation because I live in Chicago and we have about 8 inches of snow on the groung, but I can hardly wait for the next driving season.
  7. I emailed Larry and he said the Reatta is an orphan as far as they are concerned and welcome at their show.
  8. I have a 1990 convertible that has mat you described as 1988 type. My question is were these factory installed or did the dealer install mats? If was the dealer maybe I got old stock!
  9. Had a great time! First time I have seen that many reatta's at one time.
  10. I take my car to Suburban Buick where Bob the mechanic has been working on Reatta's since they were new, ask for Kim at the service dept and tell her you want Bob to look at your car. Suburban Buick is located in Wheaton Illinois their phone # is 630-462 8000.
  11. Wally I also emailed Jay and here is his reply: Bill I was able to examine this fellow car for abouit 5 minutes. It isn't anything like a Ford T bird or an Allante. You have speakers where I would put a bracket. If youi would like to invest a day and drive up to my home in Blue Ridge Ga I will be happy to see what I can do
  12. There is a guy in Marietta Ga who has made a windscreen for the Allante who would make one for Reatta's. His website is www.allantewindscreen.com His nameis Jay Senoff and his phone # is 770-977-7180. mm
  13. Thanks Nic for the good try Maybe someone in Atlanta will let Jay measure their car for his windscreen????
  14. Nick Has anything happened with the Allante guy in Atlanta???
  15. No $135 doesn't sound any better and when I looked at E bay today it didn't have any bids.
  16. I would agree on a part that can only used on a Reatta, but this isn't one so I can't see $175 as a reasonable price.
  17. Nick I don't want to rain on your parade BUT, $175 for a piece of plastic and two velcro straps? $50 is more like what it's worth.
  18. I am confused, the cost is $224 for the T Bird version and $260 for the allante model??? The T Bird one looks like a piece of plexiglass with some velcro straps. Am I missing something???
  19. Had the same problem and it was a stuck relay on the fog lights that was causing it.
  20. There is a guy in Marietta Ga who has made a windscreen for the Allante who would make one for Reatta's. His website is www.allantewindscreen.com His nameis Jay Senoff and his phone # is 770-977-7180. The price is $300
  21. I E Mailed them and asked about the color mis-match and the answer I received was " sorry i am color blind" draw your own conclusions
  22. I have had good luck with suburban buick in Wheaton The mechanics name is Bob he ha sworked there for 23 years and knows Reattas There #is 630-462-8000 The service rep I deal with is Kim.
  23. The heck with the wires ect What would 30,000 be worth after 15 years vs the price you can get for a 1988 coupe. I have a reatta because I enjoy driving a very unique car and put up with the maintenance because of the satisfaction I get in driving it.
