    Do you have any serial nos or engine nos?

    This helps identify & date your vehicle.

    They started making changes in late '34 right up to the end in 35.

    The early KCs shared alot of body parts with the DP [1933] Dodges.

  2. hello bob,<BR>my name is Manuel & I have a KC. <BR>I read ur query so i went out & measured where my firewall mounts onto the chassis of my KC.<BR>its 26" from the firewall to the first rivet of the front cross member.<BR>the firewall has a good solid L shaped bracket holding it in position. under the bracket is a thick piece of webbing. <BR>the bonnet, grill & firewall are very difficult to line up.<BR>i check this Dodge site occasionally. the Dodge club site seems to be dead. do u know of any others?? there seem to be millions of sites for pre-war fords.<BR>if u need any more info, or if i can help some more....let me know.<BR>i am trying to get some copies of the Dodge club magazine, just to check it out.<BR>wouldn't it be great if all the DP, HC & KC fellas could get together for a chat!!<BR>hope this helps.<BR>regards,<BR> Manuel

  3. hello Mike,<BR>it may be better to look for an old parts car. DP, HC or early KC. they are all the same shape. there are companies also that sell parts. [in Australia & the usa] not body parts as far as i know. if u can email me i will write the internet addresses of the car pics down & send them to u. i don't know how to transfer the address over.<BR>there are a couple of books on Dodge trucks with nice pics.<BR>i'm glad i could help.<BR>regards,<BR> Manuel

  5. hello Mike,<BR>HC was the commercial version of the 1933 DP passenger cars. the passenger cars came in open & closed versions.<BR>the commercials came as trucks, sedan dels and pickups.<BR>they look pretty much identical & are great looking cars. {HC's & DP's i mean.}<BR>there is a web site with great pics. if u look at the Marcielo site just previous to yours. he has a DP in Argentina. there are some good replies there if u get a chance to read them with lots of info.<BR>if u need any more help plse let me know.<BR>regards,<BR> Manuel

  6. Hello Jaclyn,<BR>Ford A's & B's had no valve adjustment. the stems of the valves had to be ground.<BR>there were aftermarket adjustable cam followers made.<BR>hope this helps.<BR>regards,<BR> Manuel
