Sorry guys but I am not able to help any of you. Except Ken. I may have a '35 Dictator wheel and hub cap for you. I will know in the morning, and if so I will give you a call. I think I made arrangements today for someone who can take it from my booth in Hershey down to Chester's for you. We can discuss it tomorrow, if I can find it!

As usual, I will have a couple of spaces in the Antique Studebaker Row. Spaces CCN 18 and 19. I am right next to the Shrock Brothers. If you have any Prewar Studebaker parts or literature requests for me to bring, please let me know now.
I am also selling my 1964 Commander with 21,874 miles. Car Corral space D 259.
I will be packing my trailer next Tuesday, so please give me time to try to find what you need!

The Concours Americana was held June 4, 2016, in Greenwich CT.
BEST OF SHOW:

1932 STUDEBAKER PRESIDENT CONVERTIBLE SEDAN
Also awarded :
BEST AMERICAN CLASSIC
There were many other fine marques on the show field, among them LaSalle, Duesenberg, Chrysler, Chrysler Imperial, Packard, Pierce Arrow, Cadillac, Cord, Lincoln, and Lincoln Continental. It was quite the showing.

I am looking for a pair for my 1922 Light Six. Even a tracing of the right part would help at this point!

The only ones that I have for Burgess are oval - black, white and red, and say Burgess Silencer and Cleaner. There is then directions that tell you to clean the element in gasoline and reoil with motor oil every 2000 miles, etc.

Ron,
It has now been about 5 years since you did your garage floor with Por-15.
A couple of questions:
How did it hold up?
Would you do it again?
Thanks,
George Rohrbach
Unsure how successful you would be doing 1/3 of the floor at a time. I also have a 4 car heated garage that I use for working on the vehicles (non storage). I set up a paint booth with plastic and a thru the roof exhaust fan to avoid what you learned in painting the truck.I wouldn't use a cheap floor paint as you are just wasting your time. Do it right if your going to coat it. It is all in the prep work and quality of the material just like everything else on a car. I used the POR-15 epoxy and it is tough stuff and I use and abuse it hard. The smell of the clear coat was so strong it brought out the fire company however that is another story. I have done at least 3 restorations on it and a lot of major and minor repairs. A few scratches here and there from my own stupidity.
If I had it to do over again, and when my restoration days were slowing down (like now), I would have waited until the bulk of the heavy restorations were done before coating the floor. I would now seriously consider installing the locking plastic squares in lieu of painting.

This
is what a NORS one looks like.

I parted out a '37 Dictator Sedan and a '39 Commander Sedan this last year, including drive trains. If anyone has any specific wants that they would like brought to Reedsville Pennsylvania All Studebaker Swap Meet, Friday November 19. Let me know ahead of time. I will only bring items that people ask for. I also have other 20's and 30's parts available.

Mike,
I still would like 2 of the 22' Light Six rims.

This one is a 39.I am in the process of stripping down a 1939 Commander Parts Car Sedan. By the end of the day there will only be a big pile of parts. There are two steering wheels, regular and "banjo". The car is very rough with lots of rust, but some of the things that will come off it are not normally found for sale. If there is anything that you need, please email me at: georgr@ptd.net . I am located near Allentown, PA. George Rohrbach

Grandpa,
I am sorry the bulbs didn't work well on your Buick. Although they work well on most cars, you are right that they can be not great on some. It has to do with as you said the focal distance, reflector, and the thickness and color of the lens.
My bulbs do come with a guarantee, that they will do the job. If in your case they don't, I would be glad to take them back for your purchase price, except for the shipping cost. Please send them back for a refund.
The same goes for anyone who buys them. I only get a few back, and have had many people purchase more after their first order.
I am in the process of a new design, that has more individual leds pointing in a back direction, and when I have them, you are more than welcome to try them to see if they improve your lighting needs.

Please post a pic and measurements, as the caps around that date are very confusing.
