  4. Now on Ebay: 1978/1979/1980/1981 Buick 3.8 (231ci) Turbo Engine - eBay (item 290552804963 end time Apr-11-11 17:26:20 PDT)
  5. Is the console still for sale? If yes, how much for the console?
  6. 1978 Buick 231 turbo charged engine. Complete from oil pan to the 4V Rochester carburetor. I also have the intake air box, and the exhaust down pipe (needed because of the turbo set up). This engine has been sitting for the past twenty two years and I would recommend going through it before installing in you project. Would make a great looking set up in a rat rod or in any small to mid size GM car. These Buick V6's have some great benefits. Though usually adequate in their stock form, they can be built for excellent torque and outstanding horsepower. I believe the Turbo was rebuilt due the a tag attached indicating that the engine must be oiled first before the first start-up. Call 703-753-1241 to arrange pick up (chain on, ready to load into your truck). I be able to deliver depending on location (at a reasonable cost). Cash or PayPal only. Located in Gainesville Va....25 miles SW of DC NOTE: I don't have the engine wiring harness. OE Applications: 1979 - 1979 Buick Century 1979 - 1981 Buick Riviera 1978 - 1980 Buick Le Sabre 1980 - 1980 Buick Century 1979 - 1980 Buick Century 1979 - 1980 Buick Century 1981 - 1981 Buick Riviera 1979 - 1979 Buick Century 1978 - 1981 Buick Regal 1979 - 1980 Buick Riviera 1978 - 1980 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Turbo
  7. Hi Rich, I just noticed the replies on this thread....all of my Sportwagon parts are gone. Sorry about that....my friend Marvin has a 67 Sportwagon for parts...you may call him at 301-842-2331. Cheers
  8. Just saw this 91 on Craigslist....looks like an awesome deal! 1991 Buick Reatta
  9. Update: It turned out to be a loose connection in the huge bundle of wiring behind the right rear speaker housing; everything behind the seats was taken out. I suspect since these convertibles are getting over 20 years old, more and more wiring problems will occur. Cheers
  10. Bill, I am planning on bringing my 90 Vert....Persuaded Marvin Shives to bring his 67 GS....see you there.
  11. Mc_Reatta, Just replaced both fuses (both are 15s) and it did not solve the problem.... Very confusing
  12. Mc_Reatta, You are good! The trunk light and all of the buttons on the FOB do not work. I'll start checking the fuses first and then check to see if there are any loose connections going to the trunk release relay. Thanks so much!
  13. McReatta, Does the inside trunk release mean the manual release? Are there two releases, one for the glove box and another? The trunk key does not open the trunk, the key turns to the right but does not click the trunk open. Does the button in the glove box open the trunk? Yes, the only way the trunk opens is if the glove box release is pressed. How about the keyless entry trunk button on the remote? No, does not work with the remote. Thanks so much for your help!
  14. I think that may be the problem. The trunk won't open with the key and will only only with the inside trunk release. Could be a faulty trunk mechanism? You folks are GOOD!
  15. KDirk, Problem 1 solved! During the daytime, I did not even notice that the foglight switch was turned on...I should have detected the obvious. Thanks much! .... I think number 2 will be a little more complex.
  16. While driving my Reatta today, two strange things happened: 1. Parking lights stay on while driving (day time driving lights!); light switch works on and off to turn off the parking lights (and on) when car is not running and when the key is on the "on" position....turns on automatically when car is running. 2. While ready to put my top up, the tonneau cover switch would not engage the cover to open. I figured I might have had a computer glitch so I disconnected the battery but it did not solve the problems. Suggestions are very much appreciated. Thanks
