  6. Good day, please help. I wanted to disassemble the head light unit on my 1927 Dodge to replace the wiring harness because the wiring needs replacement. I removed the screw on the back cover of the head light to remove the chrome backing plate so that I can get to the wiring where it is soldered to the globe fitting. Little did I know that the screw in the middle of the head light cover is there to do adjustment. This screw fitted to the chrome lens backing plate has got an adjustment spring between the chrome backing plate and the head light housing. The screw that I removed holds the adjustment spring in place and it is almost impossible to replace the screw and the spring. Can someone please advise. Also advise if I must load pictures.
