The difference between the serial number and body number of 6,382 represents the approximate number of roadster cars produced. Touring cars such as this one would make up the bulk of the difference.

The car has bi-plane bumpers which would make it a 1934.

Jay, If you decide to part out this engine I would be interested in purchasing the following, (1) The padded coupling device that connects the generator to the water pump shaft. (2) The distributor and distributor cap. (3) The horn. I own a 1926 6 volt Dodge and need Item (1) most of all. Currently because of the coupling that is on the car now I have to remove the generator in order to pack the water pump shaft because of a lack of clearance. Thanks, Dave F.
