  1. I am working on it I will post as soon as a deal is made.
  2. I did make adjustment of the choke and advance although I am not sure I am doing it correctly.
  3. Well I got it started!!!!! I filled the Vacuum tank with fuel and put a little in each of the cups on top of the motor The starter will barely turn the engine over. I had to hand crank it probably 20 times before it started Ran for maybe 15-20 seconds I did that maybe 4 or 5 times I'm thinking the carb needs a little work as it leaks pretty badly The radiator is also leaking But it Runs! Fuel would spit out the "overflow" tube on the vacuum tank periodically when I am hand cranking it, Is that normal? There is an electric fuel pump wired in. can it be run full time or will it overfill the vacuum tank? Why would it be needed ? Any Idea on what may be wrong with the starter? This has been fun getting this running, hopefully I can make a deal with the owner Thanks Again for all your help
  4. Thanks. I will definitely get the manuals if I purchase the car. Just want to make sure it runs and try to figure out a value so I can hopefully make a deal. Any Idea the value of this in running condition with the rust under the doors?
  5. Thanks for the info. So if I understand this correctly the wire from the magneto needs to be grounded for the engine to run and open to turn the car off? I will see if I can get it started Thanks again
  6. So it looks like it is a 16 not a 15 then. Thanks for the info. I am trying to decide what it may be worth. It has not been started for at least 5 years and there is some rust on both panels under the doors. Other than that it looks to be in good shape. They said I could try to get it running if I would like. Any advise on getting it up and going. It appears that there is some rust in the gas tank and they have added an electric fuel pump. I thought these had a hand pump of some sort for the fuel? There are no keys for it either. It looks like only 1 wire going to the magneto, How does that work? Thanks in advance for all your help
  7. I have a chance to pick up this 1915? dodge I would like to get some input to verify what year it really is. Any help would be greatly appreciated
