  1. I read it in the red section of the snip pic on my last post of maby 5 people ordering the JL9 TruTrak You can't always believe what you read though. I'm really a Buick guy but love all GM's. The 73 Riv had their version of Tru Trak but owners didn't like it and had it disconnected. I'm probably going to mention what you most likely 100% know already. With only 11 inch steel drums up front on the Toronado and Eldorado and all the front weight it took 389 feet to stop from 80 mph. When they added the disc option it lowered to 312 feet and alot more control. I'm sure with modern tires its better.. Cool to learn something about the GM Sister cars.
  2. Searched a few forums and no one seems to know except a aftermarket posi unit. There was a true trak for the rear wheels that was suppose to help with stability in panic mode but I think only 4 cars were ordered with it.
  3. Does make a sweet rumble..😁. Wanted to always ask, can you get a posi with the front wheel drive?
  4. Hi, I remember seeing a pic of a 1965 Riviera ad where they mention the stock 401 325hp doing a 16 second 1/4 mile and the optional 425 Supercat doing a 15.5 second 1/4 I think? the rated numbers were off to the side of the car in the pic and not in the lower other tech info. No matter how much I search for this particular Riv ad I can't find it. Does anyone might have a pic?
  5. A bit late but all 1966 SkylarkGS 401's were red, both the 325hp base and the optional 340hp Q-jet. The 1965 SkylarkGS 401 was green only and the only engine in 65 was the 325hp. Maby thats where the confusion is..
