  1. 1931 DeVaux sedan. Lots of work to do, but she’s coming along nicely 😊
  2. TAKerry, I am a member, although I haven’t really been active here. I’ll see if I can find the restoration thread and join the party, thanks. Also, I don’t believe I have any family with the first name Chris, but who knows. My grandfather was from Nebraska and there are some Homan’s around there that I’ve never met.
  3. Greedy for parts, maybe….probably 🙂 But he’ll have to come up with a better story to fool people. Here’s my project, by the way:
  4. Agree. I was told the exact same thing, medical issues, etc. I actually found a Portland Craigslist post from 2022 for a different 1931 DeVaux, exact same description as above, word for word, but different car.
  5. I responded and said it’s a pretty nice car to be parting out, and asked for some very specific pictures of certain parts. I’m guessing he won’t be able to provide any.
  6. Does anyone know the status of this car? I ask because I recently posted on the aaca forums about parts that I need for my 1931 DeVaux and I received a email from someone saying they own this car and they are parting it out. Seems strange that he would part out such a nice car. Makes me leery to do business with him without doing some research first.
  7. Much appreciated Dave. My name is Jason Homan, in eastern Washington. My father in law bought this car about 15 years ago in Auburn California. It was in a barn since 1955, still had the 1955 California plates on it. Solid car, no rust. Wood was a mess, but all repaired now. I have been working on it for about 4 years. The car is completely disassembled right now, cab off frame. Chassis is restored. Almost done with body work, should have it sealed and in primer in the next few weeks. I'll send you a few pics that are more recent, but "pre-dissambly" pics are one an old phone, I'll try to dig some up. Jason
  8. Nice cars!! I have a 1931 DeVaux sedan that I am working on. Just finished replacing the rotten/broken wood. I noticed that you have the Sparrow hood ornament, which is what came factory on my car. The tail feathers are still there, but the bird is broken off. Do you have any info or advice for me to get a hold of a replacement? Thanks, Jason
