My own. Link in signature. Around 50,000 images. Well, over 400,000 images, but I'm guessing 50 thousand are cars and trucks.
That's not counting my fully photo documented diecast car collection, which I lost count of somewhere north of 10,000, or the scale models I've built, collected or photographed at shows.

Hey, I'm responsible for maybe a dozen worthwhile posts in that number.

My brother reports that the man stayed with it and his wife went in to get the food.
I have not seen a Duesenberg in action but I have seen Cords, Auburns and pre-War Bugattis driving under their own power. I have been to the ACD Museum in Indiana, as well, a fantastic place!

It's from 1988 if that helps.

Perhaps they put the odometer reading into the price section?

I see something in the first picture. Also something going on over the driver's door in both the first two shots. Looking closer I think it is a chip in the paint with some peeling.
I actually really like the car, despite the obvious flaws. (I'm ok with imperfect as long as not hacked up). If this came up in 2 or 3 years I might have given that number a call.

Is that a big hole in the roof? I can't tell if this car is in primer or just faded paint.

It's about 2 hours away from me and less than an hour away from Auburnseeker.

What's going on with the location of the rear wheel vs. the wheelwell?

What are the odds you will ever run into another one of these at a car show? Slim to nil would be my guess.

My mom was watching Perry Mason with closed captioning on, and somebody they were looking for was driving a "pink thundered bird"...obviously whoever was captioning was not a car nut!

So are the cars going to be called that or just the parent company?

Now I've got a mental image of engines dancing in a chorus line...

Excellent. That's a great spot.

I am another who thinks that modern trucks are too large. I was on the Ford lot ogling the F150s but they are huge...seem to be about the size the F350 used to be or maybe a bit bigger. There's no small pickups now...even the Ranger is too large.
I generally like being higher up, seeing more out the windows. But this is too much.

A friend who lives in New Brunswick sent me this photo. I don't know where or when it was taken. 60s, I think.

Thanks to everyone who posted pictures!

I have a friend who owns a Corvair and specifically hunted down one of Nader's presidential bumper stickers to put on it.
I've seen hubcaps like those above in a model kit, but never in person. Not something I would want on any car. It reminds me of the Grease movie.

First photo has Jersey plates. I'm guessing that the Iowa photos may be older. I noticed the same thing. Different color balance as well, suspect taken with a different camera. Perhaps the Iowa photos were taken by the person the New Jersey owner bought it from I don't know why but I've seen a lot of Iowa plated cars around here...and not just passing through, I see the same cars repeatedly. (Poughkeepsie NY area) I actually idly wondered if maybe Iowa had some sort of automotive laws that made it advantageous to register it there, but decided I didn't care enough to look into it any further.

Those plazas are all closed now. I went through last year and I saw a couple that were blocked off. The new ones look like this:
I have more pictures if anyone wants to see them, including detail photos of the text about Ernie Pyle.
The phone rang... and then the next car adventure starts

I know it's not, but finding an otherwise unknown car gives me just a faint glimmer of hope that an Octoauto may someday be found.
