A guess would be it has a 401 cu. in. 4-bbl engine. It seems unusual that the seller would show almost 20 detailed pictures of rather insignificant things like the jack, taillights, trim mouldings, hubcaps, bumper ends, door jambs, the car up on a lift etc. and not a single shot of the engine compartment. IMO this car really needs a new paint job and that's a big expense for most prospective buyers.

Nice looking car but a six cylinder Plymouth sedan in these years in less than pristine condition might be a tough sell at that price.

Didn't Winky used to sell for $4.99 or so in the Warshawsky/JC Whitney catalogs?
Yes, Winky was a prominent item in the old J.C.Whitney catalogs for years. It was available until around 1987. However I am sorry to report the $550 Winkys I saw for sale yesterday on the Etsy site are currently sold out. There may have been smaller spin-offs or copies made by other companies but there was only one Winky. Accept no substitutes. Hey, ya snooze, ya lose.

Don't forget the folks vying for the "most accessorized car" award: outside sunvisors, spinner hubcaps, widest whitewalls on the field, chrome fender skirts, side pipes, crybaby kids on the corners, carhop trays, venetian blinds, headlight visors, Buick style portholes, flame throwers, curb feelers, static straps, bumper stickers, neckers knobs, three antennas with coontails, blue dots and of course Winky The White Cat, currently available on Etsy for $550. Ouch!

Having once owned a similar red 1966 Chrysler (non-letter series) 300 convertible I can safely say they are not $100K cars. In reality they are not $35K cars either and that figure might be on the absolute high end. This looks like a fairly nice example that seems to be reasonably priced or at least in the ballpark. GLWTS.

You might want to state exactly which 1951 Chrysler Windsor model these fit. 6-passenger sedans, club coupes and Newport hardtops all used a different 3-piece rear glass.

$6800 for that? Seriously? Needs everything. Supposed to have a factory high performance 273 with a 4-bbl carb and dual point distributor but there are no pictures of it. Seems the current trend for sellers today is to avoid showing any pictures of important areas like the rockers & rear quarter panels when trying to sell overpriced cars. Says it's a project, I'm thinking trying to find replacements for all the dented & dinged trim pieces on the car would be a project in itself. Then there's the major paint project and the major interior project too, all for $6800. I'm thinking that for maybe $10K-$12k you could buy a fairly nice similar Mopar that's already done. Different size tires & wheels are a big turn-off for me. I wouldn't want any parts of this one.

Looks like a real mishmash of different year parts on the front end there, it's no wonder the hood latch (and some other stuff) needs to be fixed. Oh well, if ya got a big enough hammer, ya can make just about anything fit. Car is way overpriced for what it is IMO especially for its condition. Page is from a Canadian Pontiac parts book.

Unique wagon, a minor nitpick would be the missing tailgate opening sill panel between the rear bumper and tailgate, it looks a little bare back there. Been for sale for almost a month now. Currently listed for $16,500.

If it weren't for the four pictures of the seller? in the ad I would think this might be a scam. Kind of a flaky ad IMO.

You're welcome, glad to be of some help.

Seller liked the car so much he hauled it 3000 miles back home without an enclosed trailer. He seems kind of fond of himself as well.

Looks like a 1953 Chevrolet clock.

Extremely clean for 133K miles, was very well cared for.

Neglected for a long time, poor pics, little info, assume it's a non-runner that needs the $2000 mechanical wake-up along with a new set of tires and it's not the most desirable model either. Real-world price $3500 on a good day if the right buyer sees it. IMO they're fishing and looking for top dollar or it would be outside in the driveway with a For Sale sign on it.

$27K!!!, 100K miles, wrong wipers, wrong wheels, custom interior, no outside mirrors, also the BUICK trunk letters and the four right side front fender "portholes" are missing. Someone paid big bucks for a nice paint job and now they're trying to recoup their investment. Not worth anywhwere near $27K IMO. Typo in ad or someone transcribed it wrong, meant to say 401 engine.

Parts book is calling .844 a clutch pedal strut return spring or a clutch fork return spring.

Next time you're strolling through the Fall Hershey Car Corral take notice how many vehicles in there are reasonably priced. If you walked the whole length of the corral you could probably keep track of the entire number using your fingers. Heck, they're almost all overpriced, some by a factor of two or even three. This 1959 Olds Super 88 SceniCoupe would be right at home there, and the price would be totally in line with everything else. If it looks as good in person as it does in the pictures with a little negotiating it might even be a Hershey bargain. Since the car is in New York, it could still be for sale in October and may actually show up there. I'll be watching for it.

Call me a skeptic. Al Capone died on January 25, 1947.

It's a 1954 Pontiac hood, the trunk emblem has a hole in it for the lock cylinder.

This wagon just seems to keep turning up like a bad penny. Some vehicles, well, for whatever reason, they just kinda leave a bad taste in your mouth. There are so many flaws, mis-matched pieces, missing parts and quick half-a__ repairs done to this car that I wish it would just go away. I'm done now as it would be pointless to make any further comments on this over-priced bucket of bolts as the pictures almost nit-pick themselves.
