Six out of twelve in under 10 minutes! Man, I wish I had the knowledge that some of you guys have!

Thanks again, I'll take a look and see if I can say anything. I listed a bunch of early Chevy stuff I have in the classifieds with the hope of maybe selling as a lot. I included these heads but did not count them as having any value so whoever might purchase the other things will get these for free.

Six '31-'32 Chevy Grille shells, two with radiators, three with good badges, one with headlight bar and headlights. One headlight bar with buckets, one headlight bar with complete headlights, seven TWILIGHT CHEVROLET lenses, one nice complete headlight. Four Carburetors, one intake manifold, one 1928 exhaust manifold, two 1926-27 4-cylinder single port heads. Would like to sell the whole grouping. $900/OBO
I plan to make a run to Carlisle on Friday the 19th to deliver some parts whether the show gets cancelled or not. Can deliver anywhere along I-81 between Staunton, Va and Carlisle, Pa.

I am sure if you go over to VCCA someone will gladly take them off your hands...
that is where the die hard Chevrolet guys hang out, plenty of us rebuilding vintage Chevrolets !!
Thanks for the tip. I also have a number of Chevy grille shells, headlights and headlight bars I'd like to sell so I'll check it out.

Thank you all for the information. I suppose I could go to the effort and expense of having them cleaned and magnafluxed but I'll most likely just pass them on to a Chevy guy to do with as he pleases.
-thanks again!

I still plan to make a run to the Carlisle area on Friday the 19th whether the show gets cancelled or not. Can bring any of the above and meet with buyers.

So what I have are two 1926-1927 single exhaust port heads that are most likely good boat anchor material it sounds like. The exhaust manifold must be from 1928 since it has two ports?

The Model A Ford is a great way to get into a pre-war car. They are affordable, run well, easy to maintain and parts availability is outstanding. Nothing wrong with a model A Ford!

Found these two four cylinder head castings and exhaust manifold in the corner of a barn. They both appear to have 345453 cast in. One also has C206 and the other A257. I know they are 1928 or earlier but I know little about early Chevys. One has some funky sheetmetal inserts in the exhaust ports. Any info would be helpful.
-thank you.

Set up tables and an awning in the yard, put out some parts for sale, post photos and sit back with an adult beverage and have a virtual Hershey? Hmmmm.........count me in!! 😁 Terry you start the thread and those of us who want to post pics of stuff for sale will jump in. It's not Hershey but hey, it could be fun!

Not the news we wanted to hear but I understand. Already looking forward to a big show in 2021!!!!!!!!

I hope that the organizers of this event get good solid feedback concerning Hershey so they have as accurate of data as possible to base their decisions. I for one plan to be there unless things are really bad with the virus at that time. Of course we all hope it will be much, much better but who can say for sure what tings will be like over four months from now? I'm sure with the amount of planning that must go into an event like this a decision needs to be made more sooner than later to make sure unnecessary dollars and time doesn't get wasted on an event that ultimately can't happen. I do not envy their position and I'm glad it's a decision I don't have to make! So many things to consider if you think about it, it's mind boggling. If it gets cancelled I'm sure there will be a lot (thousands) of disappointed people and I will be one of them, but at the same time I will understand that it had to be done.
If the event DOES go on then those of us who do go need to be prepared for a MUCH different Hershey. I can see the fields being only half full perhaps because many vendors will not come unless this COVID-19 thing happens to be gone by then. Buyers and spectators will no doubt be way down too so I would expect to see a much smaller crowd overall. If it's on then great! I plan to be there with mask, hand sanitizer, wipes and anything else to help protect myself and others. I hope nobody gets offended if I don't shake hands. Either way I will stand behind the decision that gets made. Life will go on and we'll be preparing for a HUGE event in 2021!!!

The big one (top left 1st photo) is probably what he's looking for. 2.09 inside and 2 1/16" female is likely the same thing. I was measuring with a tape measure so it'd be easy to be off by 1/32" (.030").

There are two bakelite over brass. The larger of the two in the upper left corner has a female thread about 2 1/16" diameter and is in very good condition. $40 plus shipping.
The smaller one below it has a MALE thread about 2 1/16" diameter and has a couple minor nicks on the bottom side. $25 plus shipping.

Sixteen caps. A couple are heavy brass in great condition! Even the '33-'35 Dodge Ram although weathered is not broken except for the very tip ends of the horns. Buy them all for $160 ($10 each) plus shipping. Say $175 shipped.
