Hoping that someone is going to save this jewel.

You can't help but stare, even though your mind is screaming to look away. The four different make hubcaps...I mean wheel covers, is a nice touch.

Wow! I looked at that first photo of just the tail end in the trailer and thought "hey, that actually looks pretty cool", and then I scrolled down and saw the rest of the car. They should've had the designer that drew the rear 10% design the rest of the car! 😜

I'd be all over the model A if it were closer to home.

Not too many that specialize in fire trucks but you'll see sirens, bells, nozzles and other items sprinkled around. I'll even have a few brass valves and fittings that came off of a mid-twenties Graham Bros. fire truck this fall looking for a home.

Thank you to all who shared the photos! As an antique truck enthusiast I really enjoyed them!

My Dad has been gone now for nearly 13 years. I loved him dearly but he did not understand my obsession with trucks, cars, motorcycles and anything else with an internal combustion engine. He would fuss about the mess I made on the carport when working on my bicycle or later on, mini bikes and motorcycles. He would have loved for me to have gotten into sports but I never had more than a smidgen of interest in the stick and ball stuff. Even my maternal Grandfather once came to my home for a visit. He looked around at the old cars and tractors sitting around and only said, "you sure have a lot of junk!". My Paternal grandfather was a welder, pipe-fitter and all-around mechanic. Unfortunately he died in an accident when I was three. To this day I really have no idea where I got my interest in all things automotive but I was hooked at a very early age. I do thank the ones who did encourage me in those early years and for the ones that do to this day, many right here on this forum!
All this is to say; a big thumbs up to all you Dad's out there that nurture and encourage your children and/or other youngsters in the hobby, or whatever their interest may be for that matter. 👍

I have had similar experiences due to this forum as I suspect many here have. It's amazing what a little networking can do and there's ne better place to do that than right here! 👍

The owner also has a 1919 Studebaker touring that I think he is going to make a speedster out of. The original body (aluminum) is for sale however.
Under the "cars and parts for sale" section I also listed a 1925 Dodge screenside truck and am getting ready to list a 1920 Dodge touring. Both are inexpensive projects.
Please call Jack, 540-810-7570 more more info.

Hotels around Harrisburg are pretty reasonable and it's only a 30 minute drive away. If coming with a group and spending a few days, vrbo is probably worth looking at. Come early in the week (Tuesday or Wednesday) if possible for the best selection, you might be disappointed if you arrive later in the week. Comfortable shoes and clothing for anything from warm and sunny to cool and rainy. Cash....bring lots of cash.

Early V8 intake manifold? Oakland? Cole?

If a person has skills and applies them, they will always have demand for their work no matter what they do or their level of education. I'm a high school graduate myself that took vocational drafting classes in my junior and senior year. I started out as a mechanical draftsman 42 years ago and have worked in mechanical engineering and design all my life. I find it ironic that a lot of "educated" youngsters barely know how to attach a nut to a bolt. Education will help you get a job but it won't necessarily teach you the skills you'll need.

It's amazing how stuff comes out of the woodwork when you start looking and TALKING to people. A co-worker owns this truck and he rarely uses it. He is on the fence as to whether he'd sell or not so of course I'm hoping he does. Although it does not have A/C it would fit the bill nicely otherwise. 1972 Ranger XLT package, V8, automatic, P/B, P/S. I was lukewarm on the paint but when I found out it was a good quality respray of the original Calypso Coral I'm kind of warming up to it.

The ranchero has a nice style for sure!
I drove 3 hours one way yesterday to look at this truck. Pretty nice truck, fair price, lots of spare parts but no A/C. An aftermarket system could be added but what really scares me is the bubbling under the paint above the drip rail over the windshield. It wasn't just one or two either, it was sprinkled all the was across from one side to the other. A real shame on a truck with an otherwise perfect body. Not a repair I want to get into.

I'd call that a very fair deal. Not looking for a model A presently but if I was...............
