  1. Thanks, that’s why I bought it originally - it really is in fantastic condition. Wouldn’t take much to get it there, but I have a couple other cars in line ahead of this one and would rather see someone get enjoyment out of it instead of it sitting. Plus I could really use the garage back. Willing to negotiate on price too for the right buyer.
  2. **Car is SOLD** Up for sale is my 1985 Chrysler LeBaron. I purchased this car from the original owner’s estate a few years ago, got the car home, put and battery in, changed the fluids and got it started (ran rough) and then found out the fuel pump was leaking. I drove the car into my garage, parked it and changed the fuel pump out (and the oil again). After the fuel pump replacement I could not keep the car running without feeding fuel into the carb. We took the carb off rebuild it and that’s as far as it got. Car has sat in my garage since (which is why it’s a little dusty). I have since gotten married and we had a baby so I no longer have time for this car along with my family and other projects. Car is in amazing shape aside from a few small cons: headliner is sagging, right rear window will not go up, and carb needs to be rebuilt. 2.6L Mitsubishi engine and auto trans with under 50k original miles. I am the second owner and the car has been garage kept except for the few months it sat at the auction house. Please comment/message me with questions or to arrange a showing (I do not post contact info publicly but will provide in a direct message). I’m asking $1500 for the car with a clean and clear PA antique title. Car will need a rollback or trailer for transport as it is not currently running.
  3. Yes, it is a Packard - also listed for sale and I posted it earlier on this forum with a link to the listing if you want to look at it.
  4. From the cars I see listed by the company I would surmise you are correct, they are located all over the place.
  5. I don't believe so - some more knowledgeable than me may know better. But this is definitely a parts car and most of the parts look like they will need a lot of time and money to be usable. I think the $6k asking is rather out there.
  6. I have no affiliation with the car or listing. More from the same location/seller. Seller seems very optimistic on pricing for all of these cars. 9. I was thinking the same thing. Especially since it's not like this is an easy resto.

  16. Looks similar to a maxwell but the rear sections doesn't quite look right. Do you happen to still have this frame? I'm looking for one for a project of mine and this looks like it may work.
  17. Hello all, I am still trying to track down a prewar car frame/chassis for my Bell Motor car project and therefore am hoping some of the members on here may be able to point my in the right direction. I'm am looking for information on any makes/models/years of cars that have frames which are similar in style/dimensions to the chassis in the photo. It does NOT need to be exact, just close enough. If you are aware of any vehicle like this, please let me know and if you or someone you know has a frame like this and would be willing to sell, please message me. Thank you everyone in advance. Frame Dimensions: (this is a Pullman Chassis) Rough dimensions are 139" from tip to tail and 29 3/4" wide with the c-channel rails being 3 3/4" tall x 1 1/2" wide and flat the entire length (like a truck). Please see examples below of what I mean by completely flat. Frame WITH bump up for rear axle: (most common) not the style I am looking for. Completely FLAT frame: the style I am looking for.
  18. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give that I shot once I can get a roster.
  19. Hey, no worries! I had to double check myself as well - its how we all learn (and yeah, unfortunately not all info online is reliable, I double checked a few places first before responding🙂). I always chalk it up to, "well hey, now I know better for future reference".
  20. If I remember correctly the Imperials switched of from the D-body (body on frame) to the C-body (unit-body) in 67/68. So the 68's posted above should both be C-bodies. I did a quick search and that seems to be the consensus in the Mopar community as well: https://www.allpar.com/threads/imperial-y-body-or-c-body-or-d-body.237342/
  21. I’ve always had a soft spot for the C-body Mopars as well - I think this one presents well and is a fine example, but I agree with your friends, price is a little on the optimistic side (but I don’t think it’s crazy). My guess would be this car realistically sells around $8-10k Especially since there’s also a nice convertible version that was posted for a little bit more and in a better color combo.
  22. **I have no affiliation to the car or the listing** Listing Info: "No rust always garage kept Good mechanical condition. Rebuilt transmission. All brakes and brake systems new or rebuild. New carburetor. Tires have hardly any miles on them. New clock. New leather rear seat. New battery box. Needs paint if you choose to. 8500 obo " Listing Link: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/723003925907766/?ref=saved&referral_code=null Seller Info: Jeff Simms (https://www.facebook.com/jeff.simms) There is a video of the car if you follow the link
  23. Looks like the nice one that was up for auction in Australia a few years ago didn't sell - although better looking than the rough one for sale above it's still not a particularly attractive vehicle. In this case, sounds like it is "rare" because no one wanted one to begin with. I honestly think the seller of the (brown?) one above will have a hard time giving it away to someone who wants to use it, instead of scrapping it, in it's current condition.
