Thank you to everyone for your replies. I was able to find the right part at Oreily's. The person on their tech line used to own a 1950 Desoto he said it was the "dorman 49810 Ignitn screw set". I also found a universal ignition point set with the following sizes: * 8-32 x 5/16 fillister head w/lock washer * 8-32 x 1/4 fillister head * 8-32 x 3/16 Fillister head * 8-32 x 5/32 Binding Head * 6-32 x 5/32 Fillister Head. Hope this helps anyone who might need them in the future.

Hello, Can anyone help me find the screw that holds down the ignition points on my 1950 DeSoto? The screw it had was stripped and I don't know what size I can use as a replacement. Thanks in advance. Edit: I lost the screw. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with the correct size. I'm going to check junkyards to see if they might have one.

I cleaned them with brake cleaner, they don't have any oil or grease or anything.

Hello, Can someone please help me? My brakes lock up when I press the brake pedal all the way down. The left front tire will lock up and pull to the left. I already adjusted them, bled them and changed the cylinders. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I have a 1950 DeSoto Deluxe, and was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to drive the car (just got it running). So far I've been able to figure out reverse but I'm not sure where first gear is. Could someone please tell me which gear is where? Thank you in advance.
