I would like to hear some thoughts on what you guys consider to be a good cooling system cleaner. I used Prestone heavy duty cleaner, and am unimpressed with the results. Thanks.

For parts only......and not many of them.

That green Desoto coupe is fantastic! Wonder if Santa can get one in his sleigh?
-
Great pics. Nice to see the '57 Ford, they all rusted away around here ( Iowa ).
-
Hey Curt, how many Cadillacs will fit in there?
-
Looks like a '62.

I feel that if the seller misrepresented the carb, he should pay the shipping both ways. Why should you pay for his mistake?

What is that car? Looks like you are off to a good start.

Ask for pictures of parts.

About a week ago I posted a video on my 1961 Desoto. Since that video I received a lot of feedback, both on this forum and elsewhere from folks saying how there are so many other interesting and unusual features of this car that I left out. Because of that, I felt obliged to create a second episode expounding these points.

Cool video of a Great car, thanks

Vic, you know that wheel is going to be a real bear to polish, right??

The white one is the better match because the fenders do not curve with the tires.

Can't put a number on it,but that Packard is going to have a LOT of value.

It's bumper to bumper around here on the freeway because of that.
Keiser, I am quite worried, it's going to be dark for two minutes when the eclipse happens. Do you have night vision goggles? We don't want to miss the cars that will be driving by!

Wonder if it's a Standard Deluxe, or a Standard Standard? Ok, I'm sorry. Will try not to do that again. At least not today.

Great car! I think the '40 Ford coupe is on many bucket lists. I know it has been on mine since the early 60's when my cousin had one with a 53 Merc engine. That little Ford would fly for its day. Ford didn't introduce the 6 cyl until 1941.

Great pics.....thanks

Yes!!! And that '57 Ford is too!!! Joking aside, glad you are on here VL2. Enjoy your posts, and so refreshing to converse with someone other than an old buffalo ( like me ).

We used to have a guy who came to the local cruises with a 59 Pontiac covered with every accessory knick knack and gee gaw known to mankind from the red plastic wind deflector hood ornament to the continental kit . You knew him by his greasy black pompadour and black leather jacket, everyone called him Elvis Ziffel behind his back.
Bet they wouldn't say that if his big brother Arnold was there!

Don't want to scare you, but the Jersey Pike is no place to relax! Best of luck on your trip.
