Is the latch a plunger tongue type, or roller in a track? Is it possible to use a flat screwdriver or flat bar, working from inside into the latch area and maybe pop it open that way?

That`s actually for a `35 Oldsmobile.. that`s for the drivers side, passenger side would have the key lock. You have the inside handle 180deg off, need to flip it. `35 Chevy Master, Pontiac, and Oldsmobile used this type handles on the front suicide doors, difference being the detail of the exterior handle, interior handles are all the same.

There is most likely at least 100,000mi on top of the 28,239. Interior looks moldy.

Skidplate, i bought a set of Chevy beauty trim rings for my `36 Buick 40series artillery wheels. The Chevy ones are not as deep as the Buick ones, they`ll fit, but there is a 1/4" gap at the back. Most people will not notice the difference.

Do you realize the assembly is laying upside down..Buick wheels were mounted with bolts back then.

Carnut, i don`t know if the brackets you`re looking for might be same/similar to a `37 Buick. Call Dave Tacheny 763 427 3460 4-7pm central M-F He parts out mid to late `30s Buicks..

Fasteners & Hardware for 1929-41 GM vehicles.. Rex Weber owner. Anyone familiar with this? It may be a thing of the past. Anyone know if the business closed, or if someone else took it over?

Guessing.. `40s-early `50s Buick

Agree with Str8-8-Dave. Those plastic Quadrajet floats were bad about getting saturated, and not as buoyant as they should be. Being rebuilt, dosen`t mean the re-builder installed a new float.

Mine was "our records show item delivered".. I`d bought an item for a 36 Buick, tracked it from the start, to "delivered in/at mailbox". "Item" in my mail box, was a piece of a cardboard box with my name/address on it, stuffed inside of a zip lock baggie..

I can`t find anything from `28, only early `30s. 1930-1934: Right side of rear crossmember or under left front fender

I hate to be critical, but the mounting clips on the reproduction from Chevs of the 40's seem really crude. Just one guy's opinion, of course. John
I don`t think this type would fit on a `36 Buick bumper, too much radius on the top and bottom of the bumper. Looks like it is made for a flat faced bumper.
