  1. Why does uhaul in Canada in the Toronto area does not rent enclosed car trailers ? Are they concerned about gas fumes and causing an explosion ? I have called and get an answer they just do not rent enclosed trailers . I did find a company called Hoghaulers they rent the enclosed trailers , you have to rent the truck somewhere else to pull the trailer . They rent a lot to motorcycle people . Thanks , Mark

  2. Is there a manufactures directory that states who supplied certain car companies with parts . I know someone looking for a radiator cap on a 1925 Reo car and wondering what other manufactures parts would be fit . Thank you , Mark

  3. Hello Bleach ,The trouble in Canada is that when the criminals are caught and go to court . They put on a business suit and say they had a lapse in judgement when they committed the offence and they are out doing it again . Someone went through a cemetery here recently and stole all the bronze flower holders for the scrap value of the bronze . Thanks , Mark

  4. Hello Curti , I believe that was the car . I remember all sorts of car clubs were notified about the incident . Maybe there should be a section about stolen cars . Where members could check the status about stolen cars. Thanks ,Mark

  5. Hello Hugo , You have a beautiful Reo car . Exactly what model is the car . You should join the Reo Club of America . They have members who are experts in certain years of the cars eg. like 1904 to 1908 etc . Here is a phone number 304 - 242 - 3388 of Ben Mc Adam in Wheeling West Virginia . This gentleman's specialty is ignition parts . He should be able to help with ignition parts . I do not have an email address for him . Please keep us up to date with your progress on your car . Thanks , Mark Gregory

  6. I like Orphan cars like Reo . So everyday I check ebay to see what is available . The other day I checked ebay and saw what was available and that was it . Nothing met my fancy . [TD]Frank, I took this off the Reo web page . I posted your question and here is an answer . Mark Gregory<o></o>

I just finished restoration of the same type of Reo motor only 4 cylinder. I am assuming you are talking about the head of the valve dished out in the center. If so that is normal. I also am assuming you are referring to the valves in the upper inside of the cylinder chamber. If your valves are a single piece stem and head unit unless the edges are to sharp to grind , go ahead and use them. If the edges are sharp or the valve face pitted you may need to find replacements.<o></o>
