Why not contact TRW. They have been making valves for over 100 years. I doubt you would have to have valves made !

Perhaps contacting Hagerty Insurance will give you the best estimate of value for your car. Good luck..............

I know the Stewart tanks are small or large. Is that the only difference or is there more to know for a specific model car to specific tank ? Thanks for any info.......

I wish to suggest you visit the MTFCA FORUM and search MAGNETO. No need to ask as the magneto and testing for problems and solutions has been discussed there to death. First point is using the correct meter in conjunction with a light bulb. There is only one way to test properly for an accurate reading. Good Luck

I have always wanted to say this. "It's life Jim, but not as we know it."

For what it is worth. PM sent last week.

Why change it ? It probably will not run any better. I think it's asking for trouble. And it looks OEM now.

Ah Judd.........I have not removed my pan yet. I was wondering problems may lay ahead of me. Thanks
-
Is this for a Graham car or truck ? I have a 1926 Paige sedan I am considering removing the pan to clean it as I doubt it has ever been removed. This engine has a float actuated rod on the left side, no dipstick. If you are having trouble installing the pan I had better ask WHY. Thanks..........

The folks at Eggemachine.com might just be a better/best source.

Yes, it looks like it is going bad. My generator was much worse yet was charging well. I'm trying to make a new part myself. Not so good so far. I have also ordered a 6 volt alternator, but do not know if it will fit quite right. Die cast parts are such a curse !

Ya sure........you betcha ! It looks like some deformation at the rear lip.

Yes, exactly.

Hello Jeff, I have a 1926 Paige 6-72 I purchased last July. It has the original engine installed WITH a Paige data plate on the engine. I had read that Continental supplied Paige with engines, but there is no plate to indicate that it is a Continental engine. I am curious too as to who made the engine. If it has the Remy 917A generator watch out for disintegration of the rear brush frame. I am trying to sort out a replacement or repair to the unit I have. Good luck...........

I sent a PM.

I suggest you contact Coker Tire with your question. I looked at their site for that size clincher and found nothing. But.......they would know more than anyone. Good Luck.

That hub isn't like a Ford T at all. This has a Hyatt roller bearing in the hub. The split part is the outer race. You have the parts illustration for reference. You just have to determine how to separate the inner and outer hub castings. I like your attitude........caution. Someone out here has done this before. Just keep asking.

"Hello Jimmie? I told you this was a bad idea."

The nearest wiring diagram I have been able to find is 1920 Overland. It has a battery and generator. Does your car have a battery and generator ? I don't think your car would use "magneto" lamps as an early Ford Model T would use. Those are 18 to 24 volts. Finding those early lamps is very hard to do. Even the replacement lamps are most troublesome. I suspect you need single filament single contact lamps of 6 to 8 volts. I have a 1926 Paige that uses an 1129 lamp 6 volts 21 candle power.

A lot for one gauge, maybe it's right and seller will deal. Good Luck..........

I would like to know what the late '20s Paige used for a headliner material. I found mohair listed in the sales books I looked at in libraries. Were the sidewalls above the window sills and headliner mohair also ? My interior was redone in polyester ! All same. Thank you.

Search : "6 volt wiper motor" on ebay. Too many to choose from !

First pic is the light switch controlled by a lever on the steering wheel center. Second, I am guessing, is the side mount attach to the spare tire.

We painted them gloss silver or gloss silver grey after plating. A uniform finish, not too flashy, easy to do and easy to maintain.
