I make 4 different sizes of center cap “V”s for Volvo 1800s fitted with Panasport wheels and various others. They are chrome with a black background. I just went to my local FastSigns shop and told them what I wanted. If you can source a good digital Tri shield you can probably do the same thing.

I'm proud to belong to a group where so many have figured out how to get their glove box doors to latch flush!
I had to create a little metal doubler plate to firm everything up.

64 deluxe interior - radio face plate INSIDE the oval chrome trim: Mine is black. Outside is the walnut. Kosher?

That's a bunch of red. Claret Mist?

Well, it did also have a 65 LT code 401 and switch pitch under the hood, so there are plenty of historical unknowns. Maybe he sold his 425 to the USAF... 😎

I never realized they were 65 knobs. (This is doubly strange because the car had a 65 overhead switch panel when I bought it) They even have the fader wire for my 2 speakers. All are in perfect condition. I need to find the same thing in 63/64 style. All the ones I see on line are pitted, broken crap

64, but should look similar:

Looks great! Did they throw in the factory radio? I was lucky to have AM/FM pushbutton still in my 22 option special order 64.

I did find the vendor paper tag for my carpeting under the driver's front area just forward of the seat. Nothing under the dash. 8 know that area intimately.

My 64 is a very original 1 owner car (prior to me). I'm wondering where the slip is located. It was not under the rear seat. Maybe above the gas tank?

I've never seen one! "Borrowed" from a current Bring a Trailer auction.
This is a relatively low optioned car.

Not bad for one with wagon wheels and rubber bands for tires, a foot off the ground! Seemed like it was not all that highly optioned either.

So ... Is this a RHD Riv or is the photo reversed?

You are correct Jim. One of my former 65’s had a saddle interior and it had a matching steering wheel.
My saddle 63 interior was matchie matchie throughout, down to the 3 pedals!
My problem with it was the exterior was Marlin Blue. It was ok on the Corgi toy version, but a bit odd on the 1:1 scale.

What about a post on side mirrors?
Good point. There is one that I commented on. "Right hand mirrors" or some such. Sorry this has gotten a bit off the rails on the "show is pictures of your Riv thread."

I sourced the mirror from a Tri-Five Chevy site which makes a convex version for a '57. They are available from multiple places. Shop around. I CAREFULLY yarded the housing, only keeping the glass.
The joystick cables are functional. I did drill a hole in the inner door panel, in the mirror image of the left side factory installation.

Here's an exterior shot showing the mirror position and then the driver's view.
I like to keep just a sliver of body in view for reference, but one could easily adjust it out to catch more blind spot.

I fitted a convex mirror to mine. Works pretty well, but is at the full end of its travel.

That's pretty cool, but my one up wasn't actually referring to the wood grain. It was the RH remote mirror. 😎

I used to walk by a Silver/silver Riv that lived in a little bungalow down close to Diamond Head in Waikiki. Probably the only one on the island. It looked pretty good considering. Love that color inside and out!

Package tray redo

Old thread, but I just checked the pricing page for these on the Clark’s website (yikes! $$$$$) and they look to be a discontinued part. Before I call them, does anyone know the story?
