  1. A lovely original condition Cadillac accessory trunk. It measures 40"W X 19"D X 19"H. There's no dents or rust, the trim is gorgeous, the chrome is old but easily restored, the leather straps are gone. The Cadillac tag, as shown, is also in stunning condition. I'm asking $1600 for it based on the only other example I was able to find from 5 years ago on another site. I guess these are hard to come by? Don't know, can't find one like it at all. If I'm way off here, don't be shy, tell me, show me, but this a really nice trunk in wonderful original condition. Delivery to Hershey, spaces OBC 26-27 is no problem, no PayPal, Postal MO preferred. Sold, thank you
  2. Like the title says, brand new, NOS, in the box, 1938-47 Buick distributor. It includes the cap, rotor, points, condensor, all brand new. Even included the installation recommendations and instructions. Part # is listed on the box and on the tag. $375.00 plus shipping and insurance at exact cost. No PayPal, postal MO, delivery to Hershey is no problem and free, space OBC 23-24. 3. I've corrected the ad, they're Buick, not Cadillac. Oops... I have 2 NOS/NORS (NORS="new old replacement stock") headlight assemblies, in the box from United Motors Service, a GM parts distribution company. Manufactured by Guide, these are new. New, NEW. Did I say new? Because by golly kids they are. The lenses, perfect (they show "right" at the bottom). The bezels, new, perfect. The top trim, also new, perfect. The shells and bases are virgin unmolested, even the gennie zinc dichromate is still on the under base and on the reflector shell. The reflectors, wiring, bulb, all new with lovely silver plating. Check the pictures out and click on em, or better, download em and zoom in. They are both right side lights, however if in need of a pair I don't think it's the end of the world to rework 1 to a left, but there's still 2 right lenses. Then again, if you wish to do that, I have 2 brand new replacement lenses that don't spec left and right. I'll make a better deal for everything if that's the case. Again look, marvel at finding 2 brand new Buick Roadmaster lights. Asking $800.00 each or $1,500.00 for the pair. Sorry, no PayPal, postal MO only and delivery to Hershey is not a problem. I have 2 brand new lenses not marked "left" and "right", I want $250.00 for the pair. I would take $1,600 for all of it. Enjoy the pics Thanks for looking... 4. For the last several weeks I've noticed that my alert icons, some of the colored "blocks" by other's names, and untold various check boxes, click tabs and other things have gone to little square blanks. It's rather cumbersome, and I also notice I have to post photos as replies to my own ads vs a continuous topic. The search function also sometimes comes up "no topics found..." when I know the topic exists, which may be linked to what the heck's happening. Love the site, the people, this glitch makes for an annoying experience. I routinely dump my cache's and site stuff to remain in clean operation, and every other regular site I hang out on is operating fine so I'm fairly sure it's not me. Thanks in advance for your help, see y'all in PA...
  5. Well here's another no-rust-never-had-rust Classic Car. That's right, a 47 Cadillac model 62 from California. Sold new at Don Lee Cadillac in LA, original stick shift car, ownership records back to 1950, former Robbins family car from Dearborn, MI. Yes, the late dear Katie Robbins. I remember when they got it in the 80s, the finish hasn't changed a lick since then. Every record of service is included with the car as is the delivery paper from Cadillac showing options, colors, etc. Currently Lotus Cream with green leather/tan cloth interior as pictured. Interior is lovely, no cracks, tears, hardly any wear whatsoever. Top is not new but there's not a thing wrong with it. No scuffs, tears, wear spots, cracking, just a really good black top. Hydraulics all work as they should. Radio lights up but doesn't play, stainless and chrome are well above average. The sheet metal is a dream come true, never a spot of rust, PERIOD. Frame and suspension are clean too without the typical eastern or midwest "bad complexion" from rust pits. Look at the pictures, ask questions. I'd say this car scores about 88-90 pts in judging. It runs, steers, stops and rides like, well, like a Cadillac. This car is very fairly priced at $68,500. That's on the low side of most price guides for this condition. Get it done in time and I'll deliver to Hershey for fuel cost (about $200). I can be reached here by DM or: highlander809@gmail.com phone or text at: 734 637 1421 (please leave a msg if no answer, I will return the call)
  6. Find them here: Thought it better to link vs repeat. Thanks for looking...
  7. Honda introduced the model in 82 with the V45 Magna adding race bike technology to the cruiser class. In 83 things got serious with the intro of the V65 Magna which held the title of "quickest" for a time. Tested by the famed "Pee Wee" Gleason the V65 managed an incredible drag strip ET of 10.84 seconds at just a touch under 125 MPH. Both variants received critical acclaim in their day. The 82 is a Model VF750C, the 83 a Model VF1100C. Both are 1st year models and get ready for this, the V45 has 1210 miles, the V65 just 1043. Those are not misprints, both are nearly brand spankin new 1 owner bikes. Both are important in the pages of motorcycle history which is a nice backup to ownership over time. They were both kept in a climate controlled office setting for the last 25+ years and didn't see freezing or excessively hot temps. I've simply washed them once removed from their "interment" and charged the batteries enough to turn them over. They will need new brake/clutch fluid and flush, flush the fuel system, give em a new battery and go out for a ride. If I do that, make them road-ready, the price will be higher. I wish to sell them as a pair for $4,850. The V65 is worth nearly that as-is. This is an exceptional find on 2 significant Honda models. I don't expect I'll have them very long. The pics are huge so download and zoom in, and others will be below as replies. I can be reached at 734-637-1421, text ok. Or, highlander809@gmail.com Or; message me here as well, I'll get an alert to my email. Thanks for looking.
  8. Aw hell, I'll pile on in too. Who likes to look at the original sales prices of this era? Who noticed how much more the sedans were? Who knows why? All the luxury and comfort was found in the sedans, especially the bigger and more exclusive versions. FIne woods, the best fabrics, vanity sets, even hat pins for the ladies were sometimes included. The roadster was basically the "cheap" car in most car lines. Notice the richness and luxury of the car's interior in this topic. The speedster and runabout bodies were lighter and made for more sporting performance, and the sedan was swift and luxurious transport for the enthusiast of the day. A 740-745 was also luxurious but not as fast. Fast forward to the collector car market. "IF THE TOP GOES DOWN THE PRICE GOES UP!!" is now the battle cry, kicking the best of the best aside. Whomever started that probably had a lot of open cars to sell, and too, maybe since they were open to more than just the breeze of a summer day the elements took them away sooner, or they scrapped sooner because at a time they were just "old cars", even the most beloved of the bunch. The cost of restoration, open vs closed, closed is more. Leather is cheaper than proper wool fabrics, save a few exotics or creative marketing. Who's priced the restoration of real wood moldings lately? I woodgrain the steel ones, but should I charge more for a single roadster dash because it's a roadster? Full disclosure to my fellow members and friends here, I know, I get it, I realize I'll never change the paradygm. Still, I imagine there's always going to be the few who understand and appreciate the period luxury of a closed car like I do. My opinion? This Speedster Sedan is a smokin deal (in today's vernacular).
