I recently acquired a mint-in-the-original box convertible top from a auto trim shop that was ordered for a customer who never showed up to have it installed. It is darker red in color in Haartz pin-point vinyl. Top was manufactured by CROWN in Ohio and I believe this top is correct for 1941-1948 convertibles. Does anyone know if this red in color was available then? It's very attractive. Has the plastic rear window. If someone can use it it can be had very inexpensively for $175.00 plus shipping of about $25.00

Yes, similar but the Ford doesn't have the bottom short "fin" and mine has a taller thinner fin on top. Thanks for your suggestion.

I have exhausted all my efforts and cannot find what this NOS 1950s bumper guard fits. It was mounted on a piece of wood as a piece of art when I got it. Back in 2010, someone had the same guard with the same question. A 1951 Mercury is close but I don't think it is.

As this is the first time I've placed an ad here, I'm having difficulty adding pictures even after I've re-sized them and it keeps saying only 9. mb allowed and I'm well under but it still won't let me change it. Any help out there> -

Sorry for not including that. It's my first time and didn't know where to put that. No trades but price is $17,950.00 but we'll consider a sensible offer -
did you find the Tungsol lights? If not I do have some buried and they're new.

Other than having an upholstery shop make a carpet for our 'series 50 cpe, what other options are there for floor covering? The original rubber is well-worn and cracked and we're going to put the car up for sale shortly.

Turning 1932 series 56 intake manifold upside down

We had the heat riser sleeved by an incredible machinist and he welded all cracks at the same time, (all over) The carb needs to be rebuilt, the kit is $250.00 and no one seems to want to rebuild it and have been warned re the leaking gas propensity. The company who makes the gasket kit is where the flipping of the manifold recommendation came from. -
I thought I posted this before but now can't find it..I have a '32 model 56 with the Marvel madness syndrome. Finally got the heat riser repaired but have determined that turning the intake manifold upside down and mounting a Carter WF carb is the best answer. Has anyone done this especially with a '32 and what carb is best and what was done for an adapter? I'm aware of several that did it on a '29 but I've heard that a '32 is different due to that darned heat riser.

After losing $500.00 to a con man regarding a Marvel heat riser for our '32 Buick, we got the old riser repaired but have recommended to just turn the intake manifold upside down and use a Carter WF carb is the answer. Anyone with info regarding an adapter or specific model carb would be appreciated. I've seen responses for earlier Buicks but this intake is different as I understand so a Chevy 6 cyl carb has been used on older models.

Dave, thanks, I spoke with max and he was unable to help but suggested I contact the editor of the Buick club mag. I spoke with him and he'd of someone who had a lot parts. three hours later I got a call from a James D Hoade who said his father had a mass amount. I told him what I needed and after several calls to me agreed to sell me two plus a starter for $500.00. I sent him the funds through western union and he call two hours later to say they were shipped. called me Sunday morning to say he found two steering wheels and other parts. I agreed at $375,00 but told him I wanted to call the shipping center. he said he'd call me right back and when he didn't I called only to find he's using a stolen phone and has a police record in Vegas and Miami. I'm out 500.00 and no parts. if anyone knows of him I would like some help or at least to warn others. He seemed to know quite a bit about Buicks and this piece.

Need some sharp eyes here. This piece and I have two of them were in a box of items I bought at a classic car auction. What you are looking at is one of them with two views. It appears to be a mount that bolts to a flat surface as seen with the three flat surfaces. It is not a spotlight nor a mirror and it is able to rotate. Can anyone help?

Bingo! Of course that's it. I've been looking at Mopars but earlier ones. Thanks

cap with crossed flags 58-60 Chevy could be Bel-air or Biscayne. If it's just a small cap, its probably Biscayne, if full-sized it was Bel-Air or Impala
